Hello everyone, me and my team are currently looking for some artists and programmers to make a simple Renpy visual novel. If you are a writer or musician feel free to fill out the form as well, as I am sure we could use the help! Prison L<3ve is a dating sim with five romance-able characters and two unlock-able characters.  It's a little different from the typical romance, as it will have elements of thriller and mystery involved.

You are a prisoner who was convicted of a crime you didn't commit, or so you hope! Ever since waking up, all of your memories prior to showing up at the prison are a blur.  Time is ticking down, it would be wise to find a partner in crime to break out of prison with before something unspeakable happens. Prove your innocence to yourself and to the foreboding Warden Guille in order to keep your head off the chopping block.

We currently have one programmer, a musician, two artists, one user interface designer, and two writers. However, our programmer will mostly just be backup for you. Renpy uses python, so having background in that would be preferred!

As the background artist you will be working closely with me and our User Interface designer to achieve a fulfilling atmosphere that will compliment the character art as well as the themes of the game.  I am definitely open to a variety of art styles as long as you're able to keep it relatively consistent through each drawing.

Here is some concept art I created for the game so that you can get an idea of the project. We are going for a futuristic prison instead of a current day one.

Here is an interest form you can fill out.

If you have any questions, you can message me on discord JellySquidling#3664 or leave a comment on the interest check form.

Currently this opportunity is unpaid

and is mainly a passion project to get some experience working on video games. If for some reason you have to take a break from the project or drop it entirely there are no hard feelings! I simply want to enjoy creating a game with other passionate and talented people.

Extra Information:
I am graduating in one month with my associates degree in art (really excited!!) and i have worked on two different video games thus far as an artist and animator. I have a bit of experience managing large scale projects, so everything is well organized and updated. We use google suite and discord for the bulk of the project. My main duties as the project lead includes organizing the project tasks, creating concept art and character sprites, and planning out the structure of the story line. Ill be operating in EST, but I tend to be awake at strange hours regardless, so don't worry about messaging me late at night. I really enjoy meeting other people who are excited about exploring their interests, and I am looking forward to working with you!
Thank you so much for your time. Hope to hear from you soon :)
