Just bought asset. Having issues with Assets Menu and more

Hi,

I just bought the asset, imported it, and began looking through the documentation. I'm trying to very quickly replace all of my TMP with this, but in order to do that I need to be able to add new sprites that are used the way that <q=clap> is used in the examples. Reading the documentation it would appear that I need to go to Assets>Clavian>SuperTextMesh>Resources. But that does not exist in my project for some reason. I'm in a bit of a hurry any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also in the documentation it mentions that it takes a long time to import outline shaders, which I need, but i don't know how to find those outline shaders.

Hello,

The "Assets > Clavian > SuperTextMesh > Resources" bit refers to the files for your Unity project! You can navigate there in the project window in Unity. Sorry about that misunderstanding.

I'd recommend using the Text Data Editor to add more Quads! (The menu that pops up when you click the [T] icon in any Super Text Mesh's inspector window)

To import the outline shaders, when importing STM to Unity, just make sure everything in the "Shaders" folder is checked. I think the notice I wrote about slow import was back when I was doing game jam games on my 2009 macbook and was rushing for time. They actually don't take very long to import anymore.

Thank you. I had no idea that the T image opened a menu. That's exactly the menu I was looking for. If everything goes to plan STM will be in the new build of my game in the next couple of days. https://hillcrestgames.itch.io/lorcan-the-leprechaun-kickstarter-demo
