To be upfront, I have not accomplished much in FEVER as I would have liked to. Initially, I planned to complete all the expressions for the main love interests before the end of February, but that was not a realistic goal given that I'm balancing game development with school and other health issues.

However, things have been accomplished! By end of January, I completed all the concept art for the love interests (which is what is being unveiled on a weekly basis. Tomorrow, you'll get to meet my favorite leading lady!)

  • All 3D environment assets that will be used for the demo have been acquired. Please note that these are not custom-made assets for the game; these are actually assets purchased from very talented 3D artists and modelers on itch.io! When the demo finally releases, I will be sure to leave links to their work for those of you who may want to use them for your own projects.
    • If I like the look of the 3D assets in the demo, they will likely be the same assets used in the final version of the game.
    • I understand that some people may not like the idea of not having exclusive, custom-made assets, but this is to ensure that FEVER is 1) created in a timely manner and 2) keeps cost low for me as a dev, thereby keeping the costs low for you as the player!
  • I have begun the process of researching low poly models. As of this moment, I am unsure if I want to make my own models, or if I want to pay another developer to create those low poly assets. We shall see!
    • This is probably going to be the most challenging thing that I have to work on.
  • I have acquired music assets that can be used for this game.
  • While I'm continuing work on the script, I am happy to say that the overall narrative map of the game has been plotted out! This means I've planned out all the major events in the game, and pretty much, all I have to do is write it.
  • Started creating an items list-- have not completely finished this.
  • I've made a list of all the basic CGs that I'll need for the game. And woof, is it long. There will be 100s of CGs for this game. And since there are... sexy events in this game, I have to also incorporate censored and uncensored versions.
  • I have started work on expressions.

Thank you for following the development of FEVER.
