Unnamed Racing Game

Hello everybody

I'm just tired of the lack of good racing games on my platform of choice (Linux) lately, so I've decided to make one myself.

I've reached the point where the basics of the driving are done, and before moving to another vehicles and tracks I want to know if this is nailed down. There's only so much a person can test alone, and I really would appreciate if anyone would download the basic prototype and answer me some questions.

Specifically:

Does the game runs in your system correctly? (I can only test on linux and windows)

Do your controllers/joysticks function correctly? If you have a racing wheel and could run the game for 5 minutes I would be eternally grateful.

On the more gameplay side: Is the car drivable? Can people do fast laps without kissing a wall? It feels good to drive? Does it feel fast? Slow? Too Fast?

I'm going more for a arcade type game, think Daytona USA, Sega Super GT, Cruis'n Blast etc.

Please disregard the "programmer art", it's a placeholder for now :)

Of course any other feedback would be awesome and appreciated.
