If you find any bugs or issues please comment here and we'll try to fix them!

Hi! I love the art and concept of the game, it's so cute!! I'm not sure if we were doing the puzzle wrong or not, but I wasn't able to match the image of the character with my friend's set of characters (the ones with the hats and spots). For some reason it doesn't generate a character image that exists with the set of characters on the other player's screen. Is this a bug?

Developer

It could be! It is hard to tell without looking at the game itself, if possible, do you have a screenshot of what you saw in both your screens? Knowing the exact level and codes for you and your friend would help me troubleshoot it as well! But I understand if you cannot.

Another thing it could be is that the direction the character is looking does not matter, so maybe there was a character that matched it just was looking a different way and that threw you off?

Were you able to solve any other puzzles for that map? If a puzzle was generated bugged its very likely that others did as well as consequence, the way puzzles is generating is by following the exact same steps on both games, so one thing off will make everything else be off as well.

Hi Jaime! Firstly, me and my husband played the game and we loved it! I just wanted to say as well that we experienced this bug where the hamster wasn't available. This only happened once and we didn't get a chance to get screenshots but it might be something to look into. Otherwise, I really love the game (although my husband thinks that there should be more difficult penalties for mistakes...I like it the way it is!). Thank you :)

Developer

Hi! Thank you for playing! I think I found the bug! Earlier in development there would be a set amount of hamsters, but then we changed it.  There is a rare chance that it will try to put the solution hamster in a non-existent hamster in the map; I'll try to upload a fix asap

Glad to read you like it too! Regarding penalties we were thinking of a time penalty if you are playing with countdown on, but it is not something that can be applied to most of the puzzles, so we tried making it so if you don't get the answer right away, or you mess up, there's still a time loss in one way or another;

Updated version is up!

Thank you for reporting it as well!

No problem, glad to help with the development :)

Developer

Correct! It was a bug, should be fixed now on the latest update

Sorry for the bug and thank you for reporting it!

Hi Jaime, sorry for not getting back to you sooner! Luckily the bug didn't effect other puzzles in all of my other playthroughs, it was just that one. Glad to hear that it's fixed now, I'll have to play it again for the full experience.

Thanks for getting back to me!

Hi! I was excited to play this with my husband but each time we went to connect to each other (a total of like 5 times or so) we could not find the landmarks that it said would be on out maps. Or if we went to the locations it was just completely different landmarks. I assume we just didn't connect right or something, but we put in the others codes easy... I just don't know why it was not working :(

Hello ashleylleo!

Have you checked if you are also playing on the same level?¿ If you have selected a different level than the other player, even if you put the codes correctly, the game won't connect properly. Also keep in mind that maps are swapped! (just in case) So you have your partner's map and viceversa.

When it asks if the coordinates are correct, these values have to match, if they do then the connection should work.

Another thing that could be happening (but unlikely?) is if you are playing on different versions of the game, you can check the version on the menu in one of the bottom corners.

If it still does not work can you send me the codes & level you have tried and I will try to replicate it. Hopefully we can make them work!

hi hi!!! found a bug!! every time me or my friend runs into the white cats we get this error message! sorry for the poor image, but, the statues are fine, its just the white alive cats that if we touch without a fruit it crashed

Developer

Hi! Thanks for reporting this. Did a quick test and it's not happening on my end. In the meantime:

  • Touching the cats without any fruit crashes the game, is it instant or like on first touch? Did you carry any fruits before or made any mistakes? Anything of note or it just is consistently crashing?
  • Is this v1.2? If not, can you try the latest version? (You can check the game's version on the title screen bottom-right)
    • In rare occassions a redownload might fix it, but if it happens to you and your friend i think it's very unlikely
  • Do you remember your map codes? If so can you share them?

Thanks for the crashlog! Will look into it.

hii. I have played the game before on a different device. But on a new device it does not seem to want to launch. I have tried updating windows and my graphics driver, and i have reinstalled the zip files a few times.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Developer

Do you see a window popping up or nothing at all? A known issue is that using a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller will have the game flooded with random inputs and block it from starting (if you see a window open) , so disconnecting any controllers might do it.

Do you happen to know if this device is 32 bits? Game Maker dropped support for it not long ago and I forget if Telemochi was part of that or not.

Let me know if any of this helps, I don't mind recompiling the game and see if that does it.
