First I randomly noticed this game by accident, while selecting different paths to explore worlds being one of my favorite type of games (next to match3 and levelling/upgrading armor, etc.) also the pals in-game do have quite unique graphics and nicks there. Its dungeons being rather common, while the mix of gathering ressources & getting new friends unlocked in-game, being some of the reasons why I kept playing until reaching the limit of the first chapter, I guess.
So far just the possible info of maybe progress getting lost after continuing later, that's why I temporary stopped at this section. I'd hardly get inspired by either too boring graphics and muting many games if possible or looking for skip-buttons, while just a few games actually reaching the last scene when I was playing all levels. If the game could load its progress, I think of possibly getting back to those new levels too.
This game don't sound difficult in gameplay, maybe for people with a different vision of colours, they'd maybe notice its images in a bit different way because there are just some texts, except if you'd read all the "talk to NPC"-buttons. The protagonist couldn't be edited with custom preferences, while it seems like the player just interacting with objects there (in that case the story also sounds slightly different than basic adventure levels, who'd be focused on defeating enemies or stocking up on health or defense).

I especially like the option of getting to areas like Derek's school or for buying potions or increasing his belt's capacity, etc. & some of the useable objects in dungeons being limited "per dungeon" than just for each battle, that's kind of a benefit too. I adore the part of completing a dungeon, when Derek asking the protagonist something like: no additional floors left.
Also the textlines of some objects or paths across closed doors, including random other things e.g. friends that searches for ressources or getting a bunch of goldcoins or just fading to the next floor by finding a hidden tile.
