This being the first devlog for Rising Mist we wanted you to get to know the idea, environment and the world, and also the current development state.
The key points of Rising Mist are traveling the world called Occoterra, resource management, completing tasks, helping locals, or gathering resources as you travel form city to city.
Rising Mist is a story driven point and click adventure so we are trying to make the story as much
interesting and mysterious as possible.
Currently there are 11 major cities that the player can visit and at this point another 15 locations that can be visited (like fishing spots, etc.). Each city has it's own challenges, people, creatures and tasks that you need to overcome.
The world map, UI, characters and items are already designed and ready to be implemented. An early traveling system is also developed yet will need to be tested and extended.
Some of the early dialog events are also implemented and are being tested currently. All in all, a lot still needs to be done but this is a project that excites us very much and we are devoting it many hours and energy.
