Swapping left/right screens in VR mode

Hi! I am running the FPV Freerider on my old goggles, Dominator HD. They have a peculiar order to left/right - essentially they are switched. It has been like that from the beginning so I suppose it is just how those goggles are designed.

Would it be possible to have a switch to change the order in which the image is generated?

Thanks a lot!

I did a search and it seems like it's an issue with some Dominator HD goggles. Have a look here.

At the end of the first page in thread you can see (what I presume is) an official Fatshark post: "Please contact support if your left/right is swapped. Some units boot up swapped due to instability which was fixed on a later driver f/w update."

Judging from that, if you contact Fatshark I'm sure they will be able to help you solve it.

Well,.. I did contact them - that's a pretty obvious action when you realize something is wrong with your equipment. Unfortunately they said that they are out of parts and finding a fixed replacement board is just not possible anymore.

So... any chance for the implementation of switching left/right eye?

Sorry to hear that the manufacturer wasn't able to fix the faulty goggles.

Well, unfortunately I think adding a left/right eye switching feature to Freerider would not be a good idea since it's such a unusual problem that as far as I know is only affecting these specific model of goggles that has not been fixed by the manufacturer. (Feature creep and these type of very specific special "fixes" is generally something to avoid in software development).

If you are mostly using the goggles for FPV flying (as opposed to LOS), I would suggest to simply select "Stereoscopic SBS FPV view off" in the custom settings of Freerider. That will of course make the FPV view standard flat 2D only, but that's the way most of us fly anyway. (At least you will not have inversed 3D).

This sucks. Anyways... thanks for your time.
