Hey guys,

I just downloaded the game, and wanted to give it a go. But upon loading the first map, all I see is the crashed robot that talks to you and tells you to clean up. There are no buildings, debris, or whatnot. There is a cute dog that follows me around and I can pet it, but Just seems like the map is empty. Is this right, or do I need to try something else?

It is not right at all. Try clicking all the buttons in the options menu. Maybe an anti-virus is blocking?

It is also possible you did not extract all the files and ran the game from the zip file.

you might have to extract everything and go to your local appdata folder and delete the sand_alpha folder. It might not work until you do that.

Ok, so get this:

The issue was a windows update that was waiting in the background for a restart of my system. It was locking up the local appdata folder and screwing the the data somehow.

Once I updated my windows, I ran the game and have had no issues thus far.

Great a new version is out that should help solve that issue.
