This manual patch cannot be applied with the mod system. This is only compatible with Strive 1.0d or later for Windows.

It enables the debug console window that starts with the game, which is useful for creating or debugging mods.

Simply move Strive-Debug.exe to the same location in the program folder as your Strive.exe. Run the game using the new executable.

Additional info:

If the game suddenly crashes thus leaving no terminal nor logs or the game does not start with 2 windows, then I recommend running the executable from the Command Prompt. The command "cd path"(replace "path" with the path of your Strive program folder) can be used to navigate to wherever the Strive executable is located, and "Strive"(or the name of the debug executable) can be used to run the executable.

How exactly do I enable the debug console? I can't seem to find it...

From our experience with prior versions of the game where the debug console was always enabled, many players did not get a debug console and it seemed to be related to the OS. Windows 7 was the most reliable at getting a console, but Linux and Mac always had to run the game from a Command Prompt/Terminal to see it.

If your game does not start with 2 windows when you use the debug mod, then I recommend using the Command Prompt. "cd path"(replace "path" with the path of your Strive folder) can be used to navigate to wherever the Strive executable is located, and "Strive" can be used to run the executable.

Thank you for the help!
