Playing Windows games on a Linux machine (64 bit) that require [VCREDIST-2015 x64]

Good day everybody.

Allow me to first explain that I am able to run both Windows and Linux games on the Itch.io app on my 64 bit Linux Mint computer that has WINE installed.

However there is a problem with certain Windows games that require the "vcredist-2015 x64 (update 3)" package upon loading them, it doesn't install it!

And as a result, the games still launch, but at a great cost, the graphics are very dark, and there's missing textures making the game(s) pretty much impossible to progress!

I tried installing the vcredist-2015 x86 and x64 packages via Wine but it just broke the games completely so I had to create a new wine prefix just to get the games to be able to launch again.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, maybe somebody can point me in the right direction, not Windows though.

Thanks
