When you go to the Whisperwind Farm in Begus, you get a quest to capture monstergirls with "Soul Lanterns." Afterwards you can release the captured monsters at one of three locations to interact with them there.
Whisperwind farm, the monsterhall in Aldlyn, and the big farm near Aldlyn. The last two locations must be build on the overview map to become available.
