Hey Everyone!

We had a bunch of questions come in for how to get on the leaderboard or get better at Nightmare in general so we thought we would put something together. In addition to the above video showcasing footage of a 500+ point playthrough here are some general tips:

• Choose your runes wisely:
  • The runes allow you to progress with the difficulty of the game as it goes on.
  • There are several different combinations that you can play with.
  • We currently believe that the best combination of runes is: 
    • [Deluxe] Chronographic Suit, Generative Core, Cell Splitter
    • [Free] Chronographic Suit, FMJs, Cell Splitter
  • In general its a good idea to get a big gun and some kind of support rune.
• Use the time controls more efficiently:
  • The time controls are there for a reason.
  • Use the pause time control to stop the game and kill a bunch of baddies at once or target a particular nasty bad guy.
  • Use the rewind time control to move yourself out of harms way or prevent yourself from being knocked out.
  • Use the slow time control to allow yourself more control over the game for a small amount of time.
  • You don't want to use all of your stasis at once and be left with nothing, so use it efficiently so you always have at least a little bit of stasis
• Position yourself in places that you are likely not to get knockout at.
  • Use the portals around the edge of the map as quick escapes or knockout guards.
