We've built a proximity voice chat / avatar world project and are now looking to create a cross-platform Unity WebGL version. The current project is done with A-Frame, EasyRTC, ThreeJS, and some other JS frameworks. The main use case is virtual happy hours / social listening right now.

We're looking to move into more of a native mobile experience so we can improve the mobile experience (WebRTC is not super reliable on mobile browsers) and add social features like adding contacts and notifications (neither are allowed with iOS mobile web).

This is a paid project.

Some of the features required:

- Multiplayer (our main use case is virtual happy hours and social music listening)

- Proximity voice chat

- Spatial audio in the environment (for listening to music, soundscapes, etc)

- Text chat

- Cross-platform Unity WebGL but with a focus on mobile & iOS

- Mobile contact adder (find & add friends)

- Notification triggers (ex: when a friend logs on, get notified)

What we're looking for:

- Ideally: experience with A-Frame / WebGL / etc projects in addition to Unity WebGL

- Experience with online multiplayer

- Experience with mobile social games

- Ability to iterate quickly and rely on frameworks, opensource, and asset packs, etc to accelerate MVP development.

- Location: the team is spread across San Francisco, the UK, and Germany but the pacific time zone is preferred.
