My first game Defender: Alien Fury, and I need some feedback

So, I finally finished my first ever project on unity and uploaded it to this site

The game is an old-school horizontal shooter somehow similar to space invaders

My goal with the project was to make the minimal game in minimum time while still trying to achieve some "Polished" presentation
and I can really use your feedback for my next project or maybe for an updated version of this game.

The controls are AD-left & right movement Space-to shoot Esc-to pause the game

Edit:

The game was updated thanks to the tips I got

the update includes:

new level with end boss, smaller player sprite, faster player, player invincible after he got hit for short period and etc.

Hi mate! It's a pretty good game! I enjoyed it. :) It would be nice if you added a power up for the car speed, like you get the power up. Then your car gets faster, something like that. But after a certain amount of time it reverts to normal speed. Let's say (10 seconds).  I hope it helped!

Hey. I played your game and recorded it on a video. It was fun. :D If you want me to delete the video, let me know. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game.
