First thank you for taking the time to read this blog , I am Spera the solo developer of this game that I've yet need to name , for now I named it Project O , the main aim is to make a good stable combat system and create unique enemies and it could a full game or maybe just a one or two levels .
I have a story ,.. well more like an idea of a story but I don’t want to focus on it now , I want to focus on the controls and the smoothness of the movement .
Few points that I was settled on before I started :
1* The characters will be in pixel , and it will have different style than my previous works .
2* The main focus will be the controls rather than world building I will focus on the world after I finish the enemies AI .
3* the most important point don’t aim for perfection … .

Ok now into the process I started working on the character design at the start of October took some time until I was happy with it , then I worked on the art almost for two weeks , I participated in inktober so I didn’t work all the time on the game stuff.
I started working on the controls in the last week of October , I have finished what is about 80% of the controls , I may add more attacks and distant attacks later, I still need to refine few controls but for now I proud of what progress I have made .
I refined the attacks animations added spin attack that can be performed only in the air , However I will change the attacks colors now that I know it looks acceptable movement wise , the colors will be related to the story that I have in mind

And I added down and slide under and when you slid under something you remain in the down position until you are out.
And I refined the ground dash .
Next I need to work on some distance attacks and maybe I will work on damage and health or I will set that for later and works on the enemies .
Well hello again , hope you had/having a fun day , what have I spent the time working on ? well , I kept working on the controls and added few things :)
So I changed the slide and added a crawl animation instead and added an attack I yet need to program and a reflect that can be used when in tight spots .
added a slippery surface when the player interact with the character slide in the direction she is facing .
and I updated the attacks animation making it closer to the way I hoped however I still feel I could do better so it is not final for now at least .
