Ritter Prefab Maker writes to and edits the Ritter_MapTransform Plugin file to allow for easy prefab creation!

Once you downloaded Prefab Maker you can place the file wherever you want on your hard drive.

  • In the Upper Left corner of the program you will see a green + or a red -. Clicking this will toggle whether the program is always on top. (Always the top window on your screen).
  • The Drop Down list contains every prefab you've created for easy access/editing.
  • Name: is the name you wish to assign to the prefab you're creating.
  • MapId: is the map Id of the TileMap containing the prefab tiles.
  • X: is the x location of the upper left corner tile of the prefab.
  • Y: is the y location of the upper left corner tile of the prefab.
  • Width: is the total number of tiles wide the prefab is.
  • Height: is the total number of tiles high the prefab is.
  • Plugin File: is the first thing you need to click when you launch the program to load the plugin file into the program.
  • Create/Edit Map Transform Prefab Button either Creates a new prefab or Edits an existing prefab depending on your selection in the drop down list above.
  • Copy To Clipboard Button places the script call for the selected prefab into your clipboard for easy pasting and editing of the variables in a script call.
  • Show Notepad checkbox will show/hide a small notepad that appears over the programs controls. This may be handy if you need to remember some things while working in RPG Maker windows.

Also take notice of the version number in the bottom right corner. Always be sure to use the most up to date version of Prefab Maker for best results. As of November, 6, 2020 the current version is 1.1
