YouTube Video (Timestamps in description):
Hi all! 3DSEN has inspired me to do covers of the soundtracks of various NES games using analog synthesizers. Mega Man 3 is the only one I have uploaded so far, but Mega Man 2 is on the way. It's finished, I'm just awaiting the items in the mail that represent the boss powers. As soon as I have those, I'll be able to complete the album art and upload it.
As for Mega Man 3, the video is done in a fixed camera angle style, much like the old Resident Evil games. The music was recorded with the idea to show how these songs might have sounded without the 8bit synth limitations of the NES, while heavily preserving the original flavor. The night I discovered 3DSEN, I went to work on this project like a mad man. I don't think I've ever been so inspired and nostalgia struck at the same time in my whole life. I felt like a little kid again, screaming out loud "I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!". 3DSEN blew my mind, and continues to do so. Consider this to be my contributing piece to the 3DSEN community. I hope to project to you through these videos, at least a sliver of the nostalgia and joy that that I've felt through all of this. If you have Spotify and would like to add some of the songs to your playlist, this album is on there, and I will provide the link below. It's also on apple, etc. Thanks and most importantly, enjoy!!
