Hey,

It seems that every time I open a save after the first time I play I get the unable to write save game message, so I can play in one sitting and load it but never save again. I'm not running it from the zip, nothing in the debug document (at all). Any ideas whats up?

That's a weird one, sorry to hear about that. So to confirm, the game can save once, you can load a game but when the game autosaves a second time it errors out with "Couldn't write save game"?

First, are you using the security sandbox in the Itch app? I believe it should work, but it does some pretty funky stuff so it could be related.

Second, does your Windows username have any non-English characters in it? Some other folks have been seeing bugs around that and I haven't got a fix out just yet.

Yes that is the issue, I've tried going through multiple days to see if it'll let me save again later but no luck.

I'm not using the itch app, just unzipped the download. 

My windows name does have an _ in it.

Oh crud. Underscores break it too. Oof, that was stupid!
