A quick paced game, and the design is really good!
I think it's a bit hard for me to touch the fires because its movement is too slippery or too fast to me, but it's good enough for a challenging game like this!
Cool take on Balatro's card and shop mechanics!
Though I feel that some of the card effects are a bit over-the-top, which makes the game pretty hard to calculate. (like some cards that decreases the value of my cards, though it might be my misplay to buy them.)
Another advice is that if there are 2 or more center numbers to solve and the player may choose which one to solve first, the fights might be cooler and more complex!
I don't think I do find a clear strategy until the third boss, but it is fun. I think the main reason is because I didn't understand when will the burning cards give me extra x on mults.
It's like a burning Balatro, where every heart and card is a popcorn (but the effects doesn't change.). I found that playing flush is easier, because I don't have to consider about the numbers. Meanwhile, playing straights and full houses can be tricky, and more often need protections on cards or time to think, which is kinda cool.
Nice game!
Btw, the boss fight song is a banger, like it.
It's a nice and cozy puzzle game. Though the fire is all over the office and no one's even worried about it is brutal.
I tried to search for more secrets in all the floors, and trying to open the door while the elevator is moving, which didn't work. I also tried to use all my money on the cat's food, but it seems nothing happened. (If there is actually something please tell me, I'll try it out.)
Love the feeling of the game.
