Hey, I'm ZekeFreek. I am the writer/creator of Killer Konnect: New Blood. Which is an urban fantasy black comedy romance story about superpowered serial killers, particularly inspired by shonen manga and light novels from the 2000s when I grew up. The base script is already entirely written and my friend and I have edited together an expansive vertical slice video demonstration, essentially a "demo of a demo". It's 3 hours long and comprises the first few chapters of the narrative, utilizing a mixture of official and placeholder assets to give a feel for what we want to create and we'd love for you to check it out.

Of particular note to this thread is the first one, which has sections dedicated to what we're looking for in Artists.
We have managed to recruit a few Godot programmers and a composer, and are currently looking to expand the team with Sprite Artists, CG Artists and Background Artists who meet our criteria. We are generally looking to offer RevShare arrangements, though we are open to upfront commission at reasonable rates. (Volunteers also welcome, but I don't anticipate that, ha).
At the moment, our next stage is to make a playable demo, adapting the same material as the vertical slice, which can be shown around to potentially attract publisher interest. So we are prioritizing assets directly related to the demo at this time, expanding the scope thereafter.
