Didn't realise there was a discount until I bought it. Bought 1, 2 and 3 some time ago and just thought to continue supporting you in simple ways like this.
Thanks @lexaloffle... I figured out what was wrong... my firewall/antivirus was blocking it... apparently the notification doesn't appear when Pico-8 is in full screen mode... that's why it couldn't connect... thanks again!
