Thanks for the kind words! Really happy you enjoyed the retro style, how well balanced everything felt, and especially loved the boss fight. The slowdown mechanic has been hit or miss with people so we’re glad it was a hit for you too.

Yeah, maybe we could’ve added some translucency to that frontal terrain layer. Hopefully it didn’t negatively impact your experience too much!

Thanks for the awesome feedback! Really happy you liked the game, especially that boss fight we put a lot of time into. And your observation about the terrain layer is super helpful, we’ll be sure to keep that in mind for future jams.

Thanks so much! We’re glad you found the slowdown mechanic interesting, it was meant to add more strategy to the game and it seems like you appreciated that.

Thanks for playing! Really happy you liked the gameplay and transitions. And yeah, the movement speed can feel slow at first but it settles in nicely once you get going. Super appreciate you leaving your thoughts.

The overall experience was fantastic; this was easily one of the most fun games I played in the jam. You clearly excelled at every aspect of the design: the polish is superb. Well done!

Unfortunately, the left direction (A) control did not work for me, so I was unable to play the game effectively. It seemed interesting, though, and looked very nice.

Jumping straight into Ultra like a menace, that “hold shoot and pray” strategy getting instantly punished is very on brand haha.

Really happy it clicked after a few runs and that you enjoyed the boss. Also the One Step From Eden vibes is such a sick comparison, I am sure the audio side of the team will love that one.

Yeah, the “power” bar was something we debated quite a bit internally, so it is nice to hear it made sense in the end. Unfortunately we did not have time for a proper tutorial, but given the constraints and the feedback so far it seems most people got the idea by the end of their run, which is reassuring.

Thanks a ton for playing and writing this up, and seriously, clearing Ultra with only a few deaths is kinda wild!

I really liked the art style, and the overall atmosphere was very engaging. The item drops felt a bit too obscured for my liking, and I found the game a little challenging early on, as there wasn’t much of a gradual introduction with weaker monsters to help teach the mechanics. That said, once I started to understand it better, the core gameplay felt good.

I’m also not quite sure what the thematic connection was meant to be.

Good job! I really liked the sound effects and art direction. I was a little confused by some of the interactions, as it wasn’t always clear what effect things were having on the player.

Fantastic game. I really enjoyed playing it. I just wish there had been an indicator showing how many stages were left, and a way to pause would have been nice too. The mini-round style of gameplay, the colorful variety of levels and monsters, and the delightful audio all worked really well together.

Thank you so much! Glad you stuck with it long enough to figure out the shooting and liked it. We might need to make that part a bit clearer, but I’m really happy it clicked for you in the end.

Congrats, you did an awesome job!

Really happy to hear you had fun with it.

And yeah, that feedback about the movement speed is super fair, definitely helpful for the future.

Thanks so much for playing and for leaving thoughtful feedback, we really appreciate it!

Thank you so much!

Glad the shrinking area mechanic landed, and honestly reaching Centimecha on normal is already solid, that thing does not like visitors.

Really appreciate the note about the web build too. Would you mind sharing which browser and OS you’re using? We’ll dig into that.

Super happy you had a good time with it, that’s the main goal.

Thank you! We’re glad you enjoyed the cozy vibe and our little duck friends. Mr. Fisherman will be happy to hear he’s appreciated too.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I’m glad those little details landed well!

As for more duck chaos, keep an eye on future updates.

Thanks you, that’s exactly the vibe we were going for.

Thanks so much, glad someone’s noticed the founding of the duck empire.

Pretend the ducks are getting a well balanced mix of peas and corn behind the scenes.

Really glad you enjoyed the game though!

Thank you! The ducks are all hanging out peacefully together in the center of the lake… until feeding time, when it turns out they are extremely picky and start judging your snack choices.

Thank you ever so much for playing it!

Thanks :)

Thanks so much, that means a lot!

Thanks a lot, we are so happy you enjoyed it!

It’s a bit more challenging than I’d usually go for, but I absolutely love the concept and think it’s fantastic.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot, really glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to borrow any ideas, I’d love to see what you do with them.

Thanks, really glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much! We’re really glad you enjoyed it.

It sounds like you played in a similar style to me. I also leaned toward the passive upgrades.

Could you tell us a bit more about what you meant by having a second game loop?

Neat game! Maybe a slightly faster recharge time would make it feel more engaging.

Got increasingly more creative, well done!

Fun little game

Nice effort, keep it up.

Such a creative idea with charming art, good job!

Thank you! I’m glad you found it interesting. With the time constraints, it was tough to go into much depth.

No worries, and thanks for giving it a try!

In the game, farming has turned into a desk job, and the only glimpse you get of the outside world is your boss lounging in his fancy chair.

Thank you, it means a lot to hear that!

We’re glad you liked the spooky vibe!

Thanks, we really wanted to push our creativity to the limits, and we’re so glad you appreciated that.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed our interpretation of the theme.

Thank you so much. We’re thrilled you enjoyed it. Your feedback means a lot and keeps us inspired to keep creating!
