This is how one should learn SQL. The lessons themselves are pretty nice; they're woven in a way that it hints and nudges you in the right direction rather than handhold you in a way that is patronizing. They can be a lot if you're new, but you can go back to the lessons whenever you can at your own pace.
I think the game is meant to be played at short sessions in multiple days as it is designed that way with features such as dailies, gachas (earnable currency - totally optional to interact). Unless you're a speedrunner blazing through the whole thing, it is a pretty nice environment to learn.
The UI is also pretty. Dark mode banzai. The color palette is nicely picked. The navigation is pretty straightforward, you get a tutorial at your first run (while it is a standard, still a nice touch).
The music also is a nice curation. They are classical music as one will expect, I just don't know, man, something about them really tickles the brain. I especially love gymnopedie no. 1, when I heard it, I knew I was going to like this game.

Hi everyone, we just released our game today! Thank you for clicking and noticing!
USAGI SURVIVORS is a fast‑paced horde‑survival rougelite game where you fight escalating monsters, bosses and heroes using your own grit. Survive 10 minutes. Reap the rewards of your labours. Get better. Stronger. Meaner. Repeat.
Simply put, it's grandfathers are: Vampire Survivors, Holocubes, Halls of Torment, Death Must Die, Risk of Rain 2, BlazBlue Entropy Effect and Hades. If you're familiar with these games, then I hope you can try this one, because it is a tribute to these games and they are basically games I've enjoyed playing as well.
The game is made in Usagi Engine by Brett Chalupa ( a rapid prototyping game in the veins of PICO-8, LOVE and DragonRuby ). Its 1.0 was released in May 20 (we started development a week after that). It may have its own quirks due to its infancy but it is nevertheless a great engine (thanks Brett!) - pls check out the engine if you're interested in making games like this one!
