Verdant Relay is a free Windows alpha for a controller-first, top-down action RPG with a connected overworld, ruins, an underground dungeon, ranged and melee combat, environmental interactions, and a two-phase boss.
The current playtest focuses on combat readability, world logic, navigation, and controller feel; the build supports English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese and contains no telemetry.
This is an early, human-directed project developed with substantial AI assistance, so the art, audio, balance, and content are not final—and specific criticism is welcome.
