yeahhhhh unfortunately the options menu cranks/dials where among the last things to get implemented and thus kinda don’t work great. If we polish this up post jam those are high on the list to fix up and get to feel better!

But glad to hear you had a fun time solving the puzzle and interacting with the totally normal microwave!!

Super fun game!! Had great time figuring out how to control the vehicle and getting around using the valves and cranks.

Really fun and polished game! Although I wished there was a bit more feedback toward how much progress you are making after each spinning puzzle. Visual and audio was really well done!!

Loved using the drill weapon to dispatch enemies and get around!!

Thank you!

Also it might have gone missed with the current build, but there’s a way to save the lil guys!! Currently working on a quick patch so it’s more obvious you can move the the camera and lead you down the rabbit hole to save them :O

My only suggestion would to be to maybe have a some format of lane that’s displayed but doing so would ruin the 3d feeling so hard to say what the best answer would be :\ Maybe it only displays while on a rotating platform? but I dunno tricky design problem for sure.

some visual feedback to the button is pressed might go a long way to aid in knowing something is indeed happening and getting players such as myself to higher scores! :O

Interesting idea to mix deck building with gamba,

Although I feel like the encounters go on for far too long. Maybe if kills grant you another spin to incentivize killing and speeding up encounters (might already do this but if so, there is not enough feedback that kills reward you in this way) Also getting an physical attacking move that requires mana but not having enough for it felt very bad and didn’t help with the very slow pace. If you wanna keep mana perhaps having a reduced damage/effect if you don’t have the required mana?

That being said a faster paced version of this is something I could see being very fun and engaging for multiple levels and be worth exploring further if it’s something your interested in working on more! Also would be cool to see AOE attacks or something like a lighting spell the can chain off multiple enemies!!

Very serious game partnr.

Really charming presentation and writing! Although felt like my inputs where not going through thus struggled to get past a score of 1,000 (was on web build)

Very cute and charming concept!!! Although felt like I was taking a leap of faith maybe a little too often when jumping off the rotating platforms. BUT still really enjoyed the concept of a 2d 3d game despite struggling with the rotating platforms!!

Thank you!! Glad to see combat can be fun despite it’s current bugs! :o Learned a lot on this one so I’m excited to jump into adding more functionality and upgrades to the player and enemies! The big trees were a quick add purely for that point so glad to hear they serve to give some directionality :>

Great idea and great execution of it in 5 days! I’ve thought about a similar idea in the past but applied to 3d space, so cool to see it built out in 2D! :o The game’s tension shifts pretty drastically once you obtain the wall bump, is this a good or bad thing… I dunno? but felt worth noting. Some of my favorite platforming bits involved bouncing on walls. Love the little wolf guy! Also the game reminded me of Evoland in it’s progression.

Overall awesome work in 5 days!

Really enjoyed how the concept of doubt shows it’s self in the gameplay and story. Making it somewhat ambiguous who your playing as, but in a good way! Also dying and coming back into the level with more confidence felt good. The lack of music felt odd at first but I grew to like it. Although it would be nice to have some form of ambient audio.

Overall! Really enjoyed the game and loved the art/animation and how things came together during the jam :>

  • Car felt great to control
  • Well put together presentation and music!
  • Struggled to find the other two keys unfortunately but still had a lot of fun!!!
  • Maybe I was mis-inputting but couldn’t make use of the slow mode on my PS5 controller
  • Combat felt fun and a very clever and simple execution of combat with a car!
  • Fun Level Design

Might try giving it a run as administrator? Let us know if that helps or not.
