Loved the concept and great and relevant art!

Your guys' trailer was soo good! I think it encapsulated the game well and really excited me for it

I loved the application of your game to AR! Would also work well as an instagram filter situation

Great way to approach an intimate issue

I love the idea of using personification in this manner to convey political commentary.

Your game is adorable! I love the graphics. I agreed with people in class about adding colliders to make sure the player doesn't fall down the side. You could also enable a double jump so they can get back onto a height.

I love the game idea! I appreciate that you abstracted the human form by using a jellyfish because it also echoes the idea of transcendence. For the last level, I think the color scheme is a bit uncoordinated and could be more harmonious.

I loved the lighting in your game so much! I know there was talk about making things more visible, but I think it's good as is. I personally appreciate the element of mystery. It reminds me of some parts in the pokemon games where there's darkness and the player uses a light to move around in the caves.

I think this game had a good mix of difficulty and pace because I kept dying but replaying! Also, I totally forgot that having more than one life in a game was an option I could use; your game inspired me to think more about that element in my future work.

I watched the Radiohead music video and that really helped me connect to the game! I think using games as an accompanier to other media is such an interesting idea. I wonder if things could go in the opposite way in the future for you and you find yourself creating a game for someone's song i.e. a game that functions as a music video (instead of a game from a music video). That could be cool

This game is great because there's such duality in cats being cute and how your home/end pages are and then the actual gameplay which is creepy AF! I guess for actual cats too, we think it's all cute fun and games but they deal with some horrid stuff out in the wild.

This was so fun. As someone who loves political satire, I really enjoyed it. I agree with the others: it was kind of difficult but I guess it isn't that easy to get out of Russian prison otherwise everyone would do it.

I loved the details on your game and the home page hooked me with the title design.

This game was very meticulously done. I appreciated that you worked on a concept that hasn't been addressed much in playful media.

thank you! let me know what you think once you've played it

Sasui: A journey of love is an immersive simulation game that follows the 12th century Sindhi story of estranged lovers, Sasui and Punnhun, as a metaphor for the human soul’s search for the divine through the verses of Sufi saint, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. The game and original tale are both set in what are the provinces of Sindh and Baluchistan in modern-day Pakistan. Unlock Bhittai’s verses and find your beloved.
