It could use the Steam achievements system, have a steam points shop (we could have votv emojis in Steam chat and votv profile banners), use the Steam community forums (this forum but on Steam), or even support Workshop for assets or mods, and use Steam cloud to keep save data between devices.
And even if you make the game paid on Steam, i would buy it. This game is just awesome.
Yeah, actually what the game does is it gets your username. But when I played it, since I'm on the itch desktop application and I activated the sandbox, the game called me "itch-player-655f093c"
The game is cool ! Even, beacause i am using the desktop itch app, and i have activated Sandbox mode, the computer in game called me "itch-player-655f093c" or something like that.
