Thank you so much for playing! Ya, I didn't explain it too well in the in-game turial, I should've added a little text tutorial in the description or something for further clarification. The bullets are small to start with as well, and I didn't pick a good color for contrast purposes, so ya you're right. Thank you.

Thanks so much for playing. You are right about the upgrades, I didn’t playtest enough so my level scaling was horrendous and the game became impossible past level 5, otherwise the upgrades would’ve scaled and maxed out at 15%. I should’ve raised the floor for upgrade percentage too, idk why I didn’t think of that. About the damage, I did have actual values for zombie health outside of just a flat 1, I just think I didn’t make the numbers right because some zombies should take two hits to kill. Anyways, thanks for leaving a comment.
To me, the difficulty and balancing really robs some of the fun which is a shame because I really like basically everything else about it. The sound is great, the graphics have such a nice charm to them and are also great, but if it were balanced just a little bit better(the big gripes I have with the difficulty are the same as Nopel's), I'd like the game so much more. Also, another thing being the ragdolling when you take damage can be really annoying, especially if you're in a tight place with an archer + some exploding dudes near you. Overall, the game is really polished and I still like it and had fun playing it.
The game felt a bit slow at the start, but picked up really quickly, and sadly, I kinda got skill issued hard by around the end of the 3rd to the start of the 4th level. The idea and temperature mechanics are really cool and overall, I found the game fun but also a bit too challenging at some points, especially with what I felt was too little health. For example, there's a point in the second level where you're forced to go from left to right with sharp grass with a relatively tight gap in between that I was basically forced to take damage from and there's like a 4 bird section at the campfire in the second level that I found hard to avoid as well. Outside of that, the graphics are all nice(MS Paint is based) and I really wish you could've made a main theme to go along with it. I hope you had a great time and you should be proud of the end product.
I like the core gameplay loop but wish you added things like permanent upgrades or just more content in general. The idea is also novel and great, and if I were to suggest something gameplay related, I wish the bullets of dead enemies would just kinda despawn(kinda a nitpick, just felt a bit unfair when 6 bacterias spawned on you while a dna piece was just out floating towards you). The art is also good and I do wish you added even just a main theme to go along with it, it would enhance the experience even more. Overall, it's a fun game and I hope you two continue to participate and submit even more games!
Ya, I really ended up having no time for the tutorial, it was like a little canva slide I made in 10 minutes. The objection part is hard, but the main point of it was to kinda play again and again and get the hang of what evidence to pick first and when to object. As for audio, I usually end up doing audio last cuz I worry about art 10x more since I usually don't have a permanent artist or I end up having an artist only for the last like 5-10 ish working hours of the jam. Thanks so much for commenting though, and I really appreciate you taking your time to play the game.
I really like the game, I think it's clever and is pretty fun, however soon enough, after either the withering entirely takes over or you just have a field of basically overgrown plants, it gets kind of repetitive as the rabbits just come, and usually get overgrown, leading them to clear out wither from around the field every time they eat the overgrown. I think the game is fun while it lasts, and the art is really good, as well as the music and sfx. Overall, the game is fun, and I understand the vision that you had for it as well, and I hope to play it when you update it after the rating period.
I really like the game and think it's a cool concept. The soundtrack also matches the game pretty much perfectly and even though the visuals are premade/generated, they all work very cohesively together to make an enjoyable experience. I do feel like it would be easier if you made a tutorial though, as it took me a while to understand what to even do(although that might just be me). Overall though, I really like the game, but I do feel like it might be a little too easy since after i got the bars to full, I kind of just chilled around until it auto exited to the main menu after I tried to go over 3500.
Thanks for the feedback. I know for myself that the game is really bad in its current state, and also thx so much for telling me about the ladder, just realized how that might be misleading. Also, I plan to continue this game by making the enemies appear more often and adding more items to the shop, like an egg bazooka maybe. Also, thank you so much for taking your time to actually play it.
The game is amazing except for one super small thing. While fighting the chickamancer, you can hide behind the menu button and nothing hits you. Was that a bug or intentional. Out of all the games I've played so far, other than Theo's and Zaetu's, yours is the best, so good luck. But sadly, my slow-ass PC lagged super hard because of so many particles, so didn't have the full experience. Me and my friend rated your game a 4.8 out of 5 btw so you have a good chance!!!
