Very good interpretation of the theme. Really takes its time to pull at your heart strings at the end. A bitter-sweet experience that left an impression.  Good job!

I saw this and thought the light bulb was a cool idea :)
Got to play it and I enjoyed my time, felt pretty relaxing, actually. I know how it is with game jams and the scope we wish we could accomplish, but I'd like to check it out when you add some updates and if you keep working on it!

Thank you for the time extension!

Thank you! I should have been more specific when I wrote the page details - i forgot to include a few things, especially known issues.
What you see now is a "cut everything to make it playable" on the day of the deadline. We appreciate that you played the game, and it certainly helps us keep track of things in case we miss them in our notes :)

Thank you! We hope to improve on it some more in the future - and add some of the features that didn't make it in the final cut!

Thanks for playing it! I kind of agree with this type of difficulty when you have a few more mechanics to balance it out and make it more fun. But I'm happy for the people that found joy in playing it. The multiple endings (3) were something we really wanted to show, since in my point of view generosity isn't just about giving others everything you have - sometimes it's also about being generous with yourself :) Thanks again for your lovely comment!

Thank you for playing and for your kind words! I think I was a bit torn on the hitboxes, as some games make the playstyle more enjoyable when there are multiple ways to attack enemies (such as mid-jump or attacking from below while jumping). We've certainly leaned a lot from this experience, and we'll make even better stuff for future games!

Thank you! I'm sure our writer really appreciates the comment about the characters and the checkpoints! We've agreed that after voting ends, we'll tweak some things to fix some things we wished we would have before the deadline! :) Thanks for taking the time to play it!

Finally got a chance to play this! I had it downloaded but since it was a long and atmospheric type game, I wanted to give it the attention it deserved. I enjoyed my time playing, got past some minor technical issues (way more polished that I expected for a game jam). The music was really chill and relaxing - excelent choice. I don't know why, but the moment with the lonely man and the bread really touched me. It was so simple but carried weight to it. Same as the painting and the sailor that gave me a hug. Lovely stuff. Thank you for giving me such a cool experience!

Heya! A friend notified me about this project, and I would be interested. My style ranges from serious to stylized and fun you can check out a somewhat updated portfolio here: https://yumexor.eu/

I enjoy fun little ideas like these. I think there was a bit too much time, considering I ran around in circles, looking for more boxes, but I can see how with some polish, it would be a good mechanic for a kid's game :) This could have used a few frustrated cat sfx when losing some boxes XD

Thank you so much for the feedback and video example!

A few unintended bugs slipped by as we rushed last minute ^^' But we enjoyed working on it so much that we'll continue to polish it with some of the ideas that were cut to fit the deadline- such as an actual narrative and fun assets for the ingredients. We just have to wait till voting ends.

I even saw a few moments where you can get the recipe right, but the cat doesn't like it (i think this is more of a cat-like feature than a bug, really XD )

This game surprised me with its simplicity and fun. It's a good example for a game jam to someone that's just getting into it. I'll recommend this for some people that are new to the concept just because it proves that point. Nicely implemented and solid! Good job!

This was very satisfying to play. Except for the part where I reached 150 and the credits were rolling, and I kept playing. I liked the timing on every sound, animation and how addicting it was. While the visuals are nice, maybe it's a good thing the game is short - since it's a bit tiresome on the eyes. Very good job overall!

I enjoyed the dice mechanics from this game more than I expected. At first fumbled a bit and accidentally removed good dice, but as soon as it clicked, I was excited for the next combat! I managed to finish all the way to the end :D Good job!

I didn't expect a tower defense with that title :) It was very cute. It was nice to have a tutorial, but I admit I kind of glanced over it and sort of figured it our afterwards. Nice use of the asset!

It was a very cute and simple game. I stayed up until I reached 6K viewers and got my fix.

I enjoyed exploring the mechanics, but I didn't quite get it until I checked the instructions on the page. Sometimes I just like to hop into a game and see how well I can get things.

Overall, a pleasant experience and an interesting concept! Good job!

I went in with the mentality that I could just wing it... not a great idea. Went back, read the instructions and went it for a 2nd try and got the game over screen.
It kept me in the loop, more curious to see if I could get at least one person to feel better. Maybe I'll try again!
The soundtrack was nice, and I really like tu Ui. Maybe a lower target for the first person would have helped, because getting to 100 felt like a biiig ask.
Still, I enjoyed my time with the game! Thank you for making it!

Pretty cool! I'm always in the mood for some old school medieval themes! I like the style you went with for this game! And the music was just right!
The sounds for picking up coins and treasure were very satisfying. I admit, I expected an element of danger, like someone might stop me, so I was a bit surprised to run around and just steal stuff in the end.
Overall, a fun experience and an interesting way to implement the theme! Good job!

This is a pretty cool concept. I can see myself coming back to see how things are in the garden :) I fumbled around a bit and the game itself is pretty bright, so my eyes got a little tired, so the stamina limitation comes in handy.

Overall, very cool implementation of the theme! Great job!

Very sweet point and click! It's been a while since I've played this type and I really missed it.  I got stuck at the clock, after I got the piece from the cat, but maybe I was just tired.
The art style and atmosphere were really immersive, and I genuinely had a relaxing time after work. Thank you for making this lovely cozy game!

Very cute game! The art style is very cozy and welcoming. It did remind me of some old games I used to play when I was a kid. Congrats on your first game!

I wish there was some music in the street crossing mini game. I admit, I did very poorly in that department, so I had to replay it a few times, and the lack of sound was noticeable.

Dialogue was fun and the game was overall responsive, and I enjoyed the way everything was implemented.

Thank you for the feedback! Sorry about that spelling mistake lol they kind of slip by at some point when you don't even notice them anymore, you know? Since it's not our first language, we might have overlooked it in testing as well, but we'll go over some details and hopefully fix some more aspects :) Thank you for giving it a shot! :D

Very cool! It sure felt like I did pretty well. Managed to pay for medicine twice and education! In the end, the system got me! Very nice experience overall. I wasn't sure how the cards i received came in handy, but I still looked forward to dealing nother card! Good job! I loved the neon look and oppressive atmosphere! Top notch!

Thank you! The combat was a tricky thing to balance! I think we still need a lot of polish to get it to be close to the vision we had for it. Still very happy you had a chance to play something that's out of your comfort zone, and enjoy it! :D I guess that's what game jams are all about!

Wow! Thank you for a very in-depth analysis of our game! Highly appreciated the effort! We actually had a team discussion about that exact thing with the checkpoint! I'm sure one of my friends will be very satisfied we kept that aspect, after getting good feedback for it!

This game looks so cute! I love the way the little frog moves around and how the vehicle handles. I had a bit of a problem where I got stuck on a rock or a tree stump and couldn't really get it to budge in any direction. I even got out of the car and pushed, hahah! It was very cute to see how I managed to nudge it a bit, but not enough to make it usable again. Still a fun time in it!

Since I first saw this game on discord, i knew i had to play it! Right up my alley and very relaxing. I admit I wanted to wing it with the rules - just glanced in the general direction of the guide and then had my fun with it. The game did crash, but I'll give it another try! Thank you for your hard work!

Thank you! The art style reflects my attitude towards this type of games XD Not my first choice, but I'm glad my team stayed true to their vision, and we managed to complete it. A lot of lessons to be learned!

Thank you and glad you enjoyed our little game :)

Thank you for the comment! You should have seen the early stages of combat, hahah!
Balancing while trying to keep it challenging was a lot to work with! We've learned a lot from this experience!

Very chill game. I liked the vibes and certainly cruised through the card games. It's one of those "feel good" games as I go around and help people :) I like how you implemented the combat with the "blink and you'll miss it anime style". Good job!
