AMAZING game, genuinely, one of my favorites in the jam!!! solving puzzles was super fun, learning more about characters too, the humor was perfect, i LOVE nacho and the end tugged at my heartstrings a little bit

if i had to nitpick something itd be only that i felt like the countdown didnt add too much to the game, there are also a few bugs related to scrolling like enter not working sometimes or websites restarting when they shouldnt if i clicked outside of the browser, or some images going over browser buttons, but those are super understandable because of the jam length (my game had more and worse bugs haha)

regardless of my nitpicks, i really absolutely loved this and will recommend to everyone that i can!

thank you so much for the kind words!!! im glad everyone is enjoying the artstyle!

thank you so much!!! if we get more positive comments we might do a full version with a level editor!

thank you!!!! LOVED your game btw people please try their game out!

thanks so much for playing it on stream!!!

thank you so much for your kind words!!!

awesome game!!! really reminded me of crash twinsanity and i absolutely love that game to bits! perfect inspiration

thank you so much!!!

im definitely heavily considering doing just that with a few more levels, and having steam workshop allow you to share levels you make with other players. if people keep showing interest i will definitely do it!

thank you so much for the kind words!!!

yeah you’re right! some levels could definitively have used better balance. theres one level in particular i spent too long on and wasn’t getting satisfied with the balance, but game jam time restraints are always tough

thanks so much for playing!!!

great idea and pretty fun! i particularly loved the art and the audio, great job!!!

awesome game!!!! great concept, great level design, mechanics were introduced really well! i only have 3 nitpicks i can think of

1- i wish timmy was a bit faster cuz he moves a bit slow so traversing the level is a lil frustrating

2- i also wish there was a super speedup button or maybe a die button so that after we finished timmy’s life we can move on without having to wait the clock!

3- lastly i think the current speedup button could have more feedback to tell when time is in fact being spedup cuz it felt a bit off for some reason, like i pressed it but i couldnt tell if it had a start delay or not, or if when i let go it really did slow the time back down

again, just nitpicks, but all in all, lovely game!!!

thanks so much spwill!!! i agree with that, i felt like some levels couldve been a lot better, level design under time constraint is tough!

haha dont worry about it, its important to die to see how everything works too! thanks so much for playing!!!

thanks so much for playing and for the kind words!!!

no it was all made using unity tools, i felt that if i added a level editor itd take too much time and i wouldn’t have been able to finish it in 4 days

thats a good idea though! im thinking of adding a few levels and uploading it on steam post jam, im probably gonna add a level editor in that case!

thank you so much for playing!!! yeah for some reason you can walk on the void in the web version, i couldn’t figure out why in time :(

ohh weird… i hadn’t tested it on chrome, i’ll take a look if i can fix it, thanks for the feedback!

this was really cool!!! kind of reminded me of my game actually, but a 3D version! its a lil dark so it was hard to see sometimes, but managing cables and doing puzzles is fun!

thank you so much!!! i havent gotten a chance to play your game yet but congrats on your submission too!

haha no worries, time management is quite difficult, but you already did a great job!

thanks so much!!! super excited to work on the full version!

actually quite difficult, i couldnt get too far, i really like the rpg maker-y vibes on this one though! great job!

yay great job on beating the extra level! thanks so much for playing!!!

nice!!! my favorite is pokemon black & white 2 (one of the games im working on has visuals heavily inspired by it in fact!), i love that game’s use of 2d sprites and 3d world (which i think platinum also uses but b&w was where they really went all out on it imo)

i have DONE IT!!!! actually very fun! took me a lil bit to get the hang of it, but when i started using the planar shift to build up speed and also to use as a checkpoint things started flowing pretty well! the hardest part was the first bridge for sure

also super charming little cutscene and visuals at the start

great job!!!

thank you so much!!! that is a huge compliment for me, i grew up with ds games and its my favorite console! id super make a ds port haha

really great game!!! i had so much fun with it i decided to go for the high score (which, i was still beaten by someone who may or may not have a cold) but it was fun! great job!!!! sorry it took me so long to give this a try

this was LOVELY! im (admittedly) a big fan of puzzle games, and this was actually quite difficult sometimes, but every time i solved a puzzle i felt smart! every mechanic was introduced wonderfully, with good pacing, great game design, and great everything all around! i loved the details of the rope slowly opening the door and everything, and also the sound effects too…

really great job!!!

you know, i thought you guys mightve been portuguese and not brazillian after i posted the comment, and then i felt bad for assuming, but i was too late… regardless, seeing “peixinho” written out made me happy!

REALLY excited to see more of your work in the future!

this was great!!! short but very sweet, the platforming mechanics are creative and fun, levels were creative, the snakes were (rightfully) ragebaiting me, amazing entry!!!

also the sound effect that plays when you get grabbed by a snake scared me SO BAD HAHA it really made me not wanna get caught again (which i did… many times…)

more enemies, actions and some redesign for the armor are all great ideas! and with more time to work on the game, itll be all that much easier to make something even more amazing!

i actually REALLY enjoyed this, it made me wanna keep playing and i ended up playing for quite a while! definitely brought that balatro feeling of getting addicted and “one more run!!!”! visuals are really great, hovering over a card feels great, the dialogue box and opponent dialogue is also great, i love the red highlights on text, the ui is really great too, and the way the game is presented reminds me a lil bit of inscryption, even, which i love!

i have some criticism and feedback, but i wanna preface this by saying that they’re mostly due to how much potential i see in this game more so than me not liking the game

the first thing is that the game is a little hard to understand at first due to the card ability mechanic not having in-game visuals. for example, when you chose two cards to do a half-xinho, if at that moment it showed on screen what the effect was going to be, it would immediately make everything much more intuitive! the balatro mult mechanic was also a little underutilized so it felt like a bit of an afterthought, especially because it’s only used on 6 and 7 (which… i just realized the numbers…). the shop felt a little bit like an “extra mechanic” too, in a similar fashion to the mult, i didnt get enough pearls to end up using it as much. in the end, healing and doing damage were both the only things that really seemed worth doing. finally, the ending minigame when you bring the opponents health to 0 is a little abrupt- it gets you super off guard, and goes on really fast so its easy to get whiplash and end up losing the whole match because of the surprise and how fast the gauge drains (which happened to me too many times…). also, the font has some really similar looking letters, like the V which looked a lot like an U and i couldnt understand for the longest time why pressing U didnt work…

again, please dont take my feedback the wrong way, i dont typically type this much unless im really invested in something, but i see so much potential here i couldnt help myself! if you guys were to make a full version, id be super down for it!

all that said, really great job, seriously!!!! also super happy to see another brazillian dev around!

hiii thanks so much!!! i have tons of ideas for the game post jam, just waiting until june 3rd to start, but very excited! and of course, your game was amazing!!!

no worries about the last level! im really glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much!!!

PERFECT, time to be unstoppable then!!!
