Not gonna lie, I just held space down and let it ride

Im surprised this is your team's first, you certainly did better than my entry and my first time since there was an actual gameplay loop in your game LOL. Keep on creating!

Awesome

Sounds like one beast of a game, but it seems it never loads.  Your first mission should be to make the title screen appear as soon as possible.

Very iconic, almost like Snake but for it's Horse. Loved the music choice. What other obstacles would you add?

Thank you very much, appreciate you trying it out!

The art is great! A very nice point and click.  Though, I wish each one said dialogue that showed more personality. The text looks a bit squashed vertically, and I had one moment where one of the ponies spoke straight gibberish to me. Has a lot of potential!

It's a great start! If you were to add another goal for why we are feeding the horse other than survive, and a not so thirsty & hungry horse, it would make the game loop much more fun.

Great graphics and design, especially for the pieces! The gameplay could use some polish, I thought I could escape the pieces line of sight before they hit me, and I did, but the game counted it as a hit regardless.

No, I only reached 40. I like the progression the music takes, based on what I heard.

I really liked the concept and gameplay a lot! Title screen music had a funky twang reminiscent of horse meat. I only wish I was able to pause and review my acquired perks. Also, if you could design some way to prevent spamming the burger/horse button since it's 50-50 chance, that would be golden, but still good!

Laughed at the LEGO death sound, i found if I click off and on the game window it keeps replaying

Did you make the music yourself?

I saw! I liked your game very much, hopefully you spent less time than I did figuring out how to move a knight with arrow keys intuitively, LOL.

You're fine, it is unfinished. I'm trying to get the one level with numbers properly working.

Trying to get the infinite board concept working

Wow, awesome game man! Love the music, what did you use to create it?

Really enjoyed the game, got the hang of it after stumbling in the beginning. Great job!

Got all the secrets, that is one heck of a gif. Really creative game, reminds me of old coolmath games for some reason, great job!

Nice game man! The graphics and sound mesh well. Should look into adjusting the collision of the character so its more forgiving for touching the edge of objects so you aren't clipped so often by invisible pixels.

Nice game man!

yeah, some sort of indication that something on the right side of the screen is happening, it could be like a flash before the numbers appear or the player character inches forward to show it did an attack so the eyes are guided from left to right, idk, but def credit to you for not keeping the player waiting

Really liked getting the hang of switching between the two types, should add a boss or something, pretty great game man great job!

Awesome game! Made me feel like I was playing Super Paper Mario but as a existential horror game.

Yes, apologies. Still, thank you for the comment and playing! As of now, though, I am updating the game slowly till its where i wanted it to be just for completion's sake

Yup, I wanted cutting the gimmick but work caused me to spend not enough time to finish it. Thank you so much for playing my game! I'm slowly updating it in my spare time even now to where it's what I wanted it to be.

Thank you for the kind words, I will definitely learn from this (even editing and improving the game slowly) and attempt another game jam, so the next mini jam you will see another submission by me!

I like the RPG system, music was fitting for battles and overworld, though a bit loud. There was a more foreboding track of music that played of which i don't know how I triggered it, was that one of the secrets? The origami art was really nice and matched the theme well. You should try adding a message or animation that comes before the attack is dealt to the enemy so that the pacing allows players to register what happened, it went by so fast that I couldn't fully process the series of events and only compared their hp after the turn finished. Great job with your game!

Really nice use of the limitation and was fun, wondering how you came up with the music, it's very interesting and fitting for background music. Also, compared to the rest of the game, the Explanation part is quite ominous with the lack of music and crooked and repeating text, I don't know if you meant for it to be like that. Great job!

Really nice idea, was very satisfying playing around with the time mechanic. They don't make boxes like they use to. Great job!

Played and is a great start, you should add checkpoints, is very hard like IWannaBeTheGuy. Congrats!

You found the totally intentional and not debug related secret, congrats!

It's not complete so your confusion is valid, thank you for the comment!

liked the game a lot, got the hang of it after a few tries, should make varying difficulties
