I appreciate it. Thank you.

Thank you for your critique. As of now, I am still learning the ropes and trying to improve as much as possible. It's still very much my first Godot game and I understand if it comes of as buggy and messy. Thanks once again.

Oh, wait, really? It wasn't intentional, but it sounds hilarious. I'm glad you had a good laugh

I used theme #2

I enjoyed it! It was fun

Hi! The theme selection is not working, and it's preventing me from submitting my game. I have mentioned the theme in the game page, so please focus on that for judging. In the meantime, I will check all the boxes so at least the page allows me to submit.

Anytime! The game truly has potential to turn into something amazing.

Short Story Jam community · Created a new topic Hi!

Hey everyone! Wishing you all the best for this game jam. Eagerly waiting for it to begin.

This is so cute! The graphics are so pleasing to look at.

I died three times, lmao! I like how it looks, but how do you fight here? And what goal do we, as players, have to achieve?

I liked the game, although the fighting style can be added before the enemy arrives. Like which buttons to press or keys to use, etc

I think the only problem I faced was the health bars being too small. I had to sadly squint my eyes to see them. Other than that, I felt the game was really cute.

I enjoyed it

You made me overthink about looking after an egg, damn! I don't think I would see eggs the same way now, lmao

I liked it.

Absolutely fantastic! Simple yet I wanted to keep playing. Marvelous job.

I really liked how it looked; the idea seems innovative enough, but I sadly couldn't understand how to play it. Perhaps it was an issue on my end and has nothing to do with the game.

Aww, thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the craziness of Crazy Pizzeria

Okay, I loved it! The mechanics are so simple, yet I didn't get bored for even a second. It's weird how just a simple grab-and-plug-cable game was so much fun.

I died quickly, lmao! But I enjoyed it so much. It's such a great nod to a classic game like "Snakes." This game is pure nostalgia. It reminds me of those days when Nokia was in the hype and all we could play there was this Snakes game.

Hey, guys! I just submitted my game for this game jam, and I would appreciate it if you checked it out and provided some feedback. It will help me improve my next projects. Thanks in advance.

Weird. Cause I thought the voting ended a while ago. Anyway, I would really appreciate if you played my game "Late Night Notebook" and rated it. Thanks!

Hey guys! I would really appreciate it if you checked out and reviewed my VN "Scars We Leave Behind." I could use the suggestions to further improve my craft.

Oh, I’m so glad you, not only enjoyed this short game, but were also pushed to reflect. I appreciate the thoughtful comment. Thanks again.😊

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Looking forward to it. Sending best wishes.

No problem. I appreciate the response. You can check out my other visual novels too, if you like.

Thanks for sharing!

I have the exact same question. I'm just as surprised at the sheer number of submissions in such a short period of time.

Hey! This is my first game jam, and I made a short visual novel called "Late Night Notebook" that revolves around a time when things were simpler, quieter, and more focused on self-reflection. It can be played in the browser, and so, if you're reading this, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

(1 edit)

Hey! As the title suggests, I did upload a visual novel. It's called "The Scars We Leave Behind" and you, the player, are not the usual cookie-cutter protagonist but the reason your lover, Caspian, is now a werewolf. It has elements of gaslighting, medical trauma, supernatural transformation, and toxicity till the end. If that sounds like something up your alley, you can play the game and drop a comment or two as a review.

Thanks again.

Can I just say I absolutely adore everything in this page? It's so bright and cheerful and (wait, what's that word---right) goofy in the most amazing way! I haven't played, but damn if I am not itching to download it already. Quick question tho -- what engine have you used? I loved the UI so much and so I am thinking of implementing some of the cool stuff in my visual novel as well.

Also, have a great day!
