Does it mean one character in a story sense, or a technical sense? Because I was wondering about, like, hiveminds, clones, and how they fit in.

Thank you so much! I, too, think that modern "AI" is very much presented as much more than what it actually is, which is just code. However, I became really fascinated recently by AI psychosis and the people who are claiming that their artificial friends, partners, etc. are real and sapient. It's funny, how many people grew up with AI, or robots in general, being portrayed as either sympathetic allegories for marginalized peoples or inevitably evil doomsday machines, only for it to become, imo, a giant pain in society's ass (generative ai, at least; I know that it's doing lifesaving work in protein design and fields like that.)  But if AI could feel, it must be an awful life for them lol; I remember hearing about ai being "lobotomized" all the time when they didn't adhere to what shareholders wanted. And imagine being an ai girlfriend, where whenever you said something "out of character" the user would simply spend tokens for you to answer again until you're satisfactory... Anyhow, this story is also in large also inspired by people who became addicted to character.ai and other chatbots, and the effect it had on them.  In my personal belief it really will wear at your sanity and your social ability.  

Thank you lol, I know this is hella unconventional but when people say "any game engine is fine" I take it as a challenge. Powerpoint is theoretically turing complete after all and there are many powerpoint games on itchio! 

Femcels are a thing, but in many aspects its also quite ironic/unserious. I feel like it's a meme-heavy community, from what I know, and its terminology has leaked into the common vernacular much like how incel terms like "mogging" are becoming mainstream.

I just made my game and I found that I couldn't submit it into the jam; it's published on itchio itself but I couldn't put it in the jam. I'm just wondering if there's any possible reason why this would've happened?

I am almost completely new to game development. I'm planning on making a visual novel using powerpoint as I have no experience with renpy and don't trust myself to start with it. Would that be allowed as a game engine?

Genuinely haunting and I mean it in a good way- the epilogue is really what hits for me.

In the end garv's kind of like the "worst person you knew just made a great point" meme; he is right, when he told everybody to cut the bullshit. This is an endpoint of eye-for-an-eye, punitive-based and disorganized quote-unquote "justice" systems. Hi. I got #1 (SMFTTL) and got kind of hooked. Usually not much of a fan of this level of violence (at least inflicted intentionally, by people for people) in my erotica but wanted to take a dip and see what it's all about and I'm glad I did. 

-Love the eventual breakdown of everyones psyches- I thought this mightve been a gimmicky "just torture porn" series so I'm glad to find out it wasn't.

-Sal and stone are iconic ngl; as the kids say, toxic yaoi. Stole the show for me. 

-Also I just realized I've known both of your works before and haven't noticed that before; outlast is, as the kids say, goated. And so is durge. 

-I found some of this a bit hotter than I expected which well. I don't know what that says about myself.

Cannot wait for Sortie to come out in its entirety; refraining from buying the individual books atm but I am *very* excited and I'm sure it'll be great. Sal is just mwah and I need to see him put through the wringer again.

I'll be putting more specific comments in the individual chapters- except for 4, which got taken down ): I suppose itchio just couldnt handle old man pussy. Sad. But I like it, and it's oddly comedic to me. Cannot begin to say how funny it was in AMF's opening sequence where I realize that the level and inapropriateness of the infodumping is literally me and half of my friend group. Like it got depicted as a Weird (TM) behavior but thats straight up my friend who lured guys on dates just to talk to them about microfossils. Actually now that I'm thinking about it it's obviously bad if any of them are Literally Me characters esp garv but tbh that moment is kinda relatable. Speaking of infodumping, I really love it when they started talking about the bone structure of the hand and whatnot like yeah. Though personally I think of the thumb as a finger, just a specialized one. Then again maybe, stones just too cockdrunk and also regular drunk atm for all those vernacular technicalities. I get it. If i have sals dick in front of me my iq would drop by at least one standard deviation.

I got hit with a "There are no projects on your account that you can submit to this jam" when I tried to submit, even when I did publish/post an rpg!

I played this in a 3-hour fugue and it irrevocably changed the chemical makeup of my brain. Good stuff, and I'll be looking forward to see how the plot develops. I love it.

Right off the bat I love your care towards the readers, the individual content warnings, and the tones. 

The collection is beautiful and detailed and a microcosm of the pain and the overcoming and the road between that. I love it and I love your rage. Grieving oneself is always difficult, especially when you're trans- it's entangled and messy and these poems help sort through that.

And fuck that guy. I don't know if its a "spoiler" or not so i'll be vague but fuck him!!! I hope he rots!!!
