Thanks for taking the time to leave some feedback! I’m working on an update right now to try and get the game to where I wanted it to be for the game jam. The encouragement is very much appreciated!

Heya, thanks for taking the time to try my game and leave some feedback! I didn’t have time to implement any sound, so it’s not a problem on your end, and yeah I wanted to implement more weapons and enemy types but again, couldn’t fit it in before the deadline. I’m currently working on an update to address all that, including actually adding some art and sounds. Glad to hear you enjoyed what there was!
Solid idea and execution here, could just use some tweaking on the balance maybe. I got up to about wave 14 I think, and by then I was just kinda letting myself get pushed around by the enemies while spamming the attack button. Also spent a decent amount of time just slowly chasing down the archers to get things moving along. Other than that, all I’ve got left for feedback is what some of the other comments mentioned already: more variety, and addressing the audio balancing issues. I did run into a small bug where I think the character got stuck in the attack animation and I couldn’t move until I pressed the attack button again.
I had a decent time with this one! The shooting felt a little clunky since it seemed like my mouse kept getting stuck for some reason, but I think you executed the concept and theme pretty well! If you ever plan on expanding on this, I could definitely see the potential for it and would be interested in revisiting some day! :)
I think you’ve got some neat ideas here, but sadly I couldn’t get very far into the game to experience them. I’m not so sure that RPG Maker is the best engine for making a game like this, as I kept dying less than a minute into each run from trying to grapple with the controls. I’ll see about giving it another go at some point though, I want to give this a fair shot.
Well, here it is. I’d work on this a little more, but I have work tomorrow and the submission closes while I’m on my shift. I’ll save the long essay for the post mortem once the jam finishes, but even if it’s very unfinished, I’m honestly proud of what I was able to make with the time I had. I hope whoever picks this up enjoys what there is and looks forward to more!
