Yess! I was thinking of the legend of zelda the wind waker while making the models! And yeah, it is really imbalanced. thanks for taking the time to give it a try!!

I think this is the first one I've played where the movement is directly tied to the countdown, I really love how its indicated by increasing the speed and shift to B&W, though I think It would've been a little better if you returned to the checkpoints instead of the start of the level when you lose. Great experience though, I liked it!
Pleased to know that the art and music are to your liking! I actually spent most of my time working on the models and game environment, so it means something to me. And the mariokart itemboxes are kinda random but I like them. The game is definitely lacking in sound effects we left them untill last minute but all we had were 16bit SFX which wouldn't fit well with our game. And maybe increasing the item's duration and the itembox spawn rate would've been better, but it is what it is. thank you for playing!
I haven't posted anything that violates community guidelines and tried contacting support twice and haven't gotten a reply. this is my 2nd account btw, I thought I could just use this one but seems itch.io's automated system flagged it too.

Yeah, the item system wasn't the most practical or the easiest to understand, and I had a tutorial implementation in mind but we couldn't get it done in time. I also really like the idea of having 2 types of projectiles. thanks again!!
