OMG DAVID WU HI!

Yeah, there was definitely quite a lot lacking when compared to a properly finished game. I admit I did a lot of shortcuts here and there just to fit my schedule with my 9-5, but ultimately I was quite happy I was able to make a playable game at least for my first game jam.

Variations I admit I only change their stats just to "give" them a bit of a different feel. Future wise I will definitely want to add ranged variations. Control wise I was honestly blank in trying to add many more QoL stuffs like better camera pan movement to see what's further ahead.

As for UI, I admit I put that as the last because that was kinda the easiest for me since but it did bite me back with the limited time I have, so I didn't manage to add some few settings/options like volume control (which I would definitely like to add actually). Same with sfx, I actually legit forgot to add them at the last minute so I just ditched it altogether because it was already like almost 2am and I need to wake up early to work lol. UI I'm still trying to work with it as I never really build a game so that is still in my experimenting list.

And I totally forgot Kaela actually had a sprite/design change so that was definitely my bad on my part, haven't been catching up with Hololive lately.

Anyways sorry for the long text but thank you so much for giving feedback on my first ever game! When I have the motivation to do or improve more, I would definitely like to polish this game better.

I agree with the ruined world being a bit too peaceful for my liking. Wanted to add more burning in the background, but time is limited so I just make do with simple backgrounds. Thank you for the feedback, and nice one going for that hitless run lol!

Yup, since this was my first game jam, my main focus is to actually make an actually working game even if it's a tad bit simpler. Quite happy with the end product mechanically, however design and QoL aspect I definitely to improve. Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah, I too wanted to add more variety to the enemies, but time is limited and I have a 9-5 so I did a bit of cheating with the enemies just giving them different stats. In the future if I do make more, I wanted to add ranged enemies to give more challenges. Anyways, thank you for the feedback, much appreciated!

Since this was my first Game Jam I only went for a simple approach and made it the combo has range and extra bit of damage. Thank you for the feedback!

Just wanna say the BGM is very cool so it made the whole journey even fun. Was fun kicking enemies like Kamen Rider lol.

Oooooookayyyyyy so sadly I probably broke the game so I can't rate it now. I opened the game, it was working properly. Entered into the stage and tried pressing Esc and it crashed the game. Now I can't even play the game so oof sorry.

Thank you for the feedback! Had to cut a lot of corners making this, I'm just glad to be able to at least make a decent finished game.

Alright, that's some good notes for me to take of. The flashing yeah I did want to do some few changes, but eh time was ticking so I had no time to change it once I go through the design implementation phase. Thanks for the feedback!

Fair point. First time I ever made parallax so might have issues with different resolutions or aspect ratio. Thanks for the feedback!

Oh don't worry about the DQ thingy. It was just a careless mistake on my side as it's my first time uploading it, but the host had reinstated it so it's back up.

Also good to know. I was just worried as I am not that good in understanding much about copyrights stuffs so I just put a disclaimer just in case. Still, thank you for the info!

Brooooo the art and all are so cute! I was looking forward to playing it!

Unfortunately uhhh the game kinda got soft locked? It's on the first stage 1-1 but I already got soft locked, and I can't even go back to the menu. Some of the buttons also doesn't work properly so that's unfortunate.

Still the concept is pretty fun, kinda like a Dinner Dash lite.

First and foremost, I hate you (affectionate) as this was my first rage game so I just went in blindly.

Anyways everything looks cool, the art looks amazing, and it definitely made me rage so there's that. Thank god there's a skip button, only managed to go until the 3rd/4th stage so that's an achievement for me at least :p

Audio wise, that makes sense. It's my fault too on not adding a sound volume button as I only managed to add the audio like 2 days before submission ends. For web build, I will think of it in the future maybe. This is my first time technically releasing a properly built game, so when I have the time to learn it, I will try to learn how to release the game as a web build using Unity.

Anyways, thank you for the feedback!

I do enjoy reading some few VNs, so I might be a bit harsh on this.

Overall, the story itself is pretty solid so that's good. However, it feels off at first, only until 1/4 did I realize there was no BGM? Or is it just me maybe? Anyways I did put my own BGM from Youtube "First Anniversary Login Menu Theme | Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium" and it does fit (Don't actually use this specific song in game lol). If there really isn't any, I would say you can take some few non-copyrighted songs from DOVA-SYNDROME and find from the top 100 playlist.

I only finished the game once, as I don't know if there are actually multiple routes here as VNs tend to have their own flowchart. Still, I would say you managed to do a great job on the story telling, I actually kinda liked it as I go further in. I can definitely feel the inspiration at first, which was The World God Only Knows, and then add in elements from Date A Live.

Respect to you also for making your own CGs using the models, although there are some few lacking as what the other comments pointed out. But still its understandable as it's a Game jam so time is short.

Artwise the game is pretty cute and has it's own charm. I would say the game could be better, but it's a gamejam so it can be excused. One thing is definitely the combat as the hitbox is pretty misleading, although the game itself is pretty straightforward so it's easy enough to understand the mechanics.

That's my bad as this was my first time uploading in itch.io. I managed to talk with one of the host and they reinstated so you can play it now! Sorry for the wait and thank you!

Yeaaaaa  that was my bad on the uploading part as it was my first time uploading anything in itch.io lol.

Anyways thank you for the feedback! There are definitely some few QoL stuffs that I would like to add, sadly time doesn't allow me so it is what it is.

The reason I chose pixel art is I suck at drawing decent arts, so pixel arts really helps with hiding all those flaws. And the music choice for the stages was actually a coincidence as I only realized the clock sound when putting it in the game lol. Anyways thank you for the feedback!

That is fair. I have all the codes needed to count the enemies put on the map, so adding a UI text would be nice. Thanks for the feedback!

Goodness gracious this game is really chaotic. Really lives up to the name lol.

For a GameJam, yea this game is really hard, but I can see the vision. The closest I got to winning is just to use the coffee while overloading the fuel and I got to 90% before losing because I missed one wall hidden behind on the opposite side.

Anyways still a pure adrenaline rush game, and would probably be better if there's a BGM on the background.

Very sorry, I didn't checked my email as I was busy. I'll upload it later once I reach home.
