You’re lost in a maze of rooms where your only points of reference are the doors ahead of you and your urgent thirst to quench. Fortunately, there are bottles of liquid at your disposal, which you hasten to drink... Along with their share of side effects. Will you be able to find an answer to the many questions the character asks, alongside you?
Perpetual Dependancy is a simple first-person platformer centred on the story and the side effects that build up to restrict your movement. The atmosphere is cryptic and has an unsettling feel. The aim is to find a way out of the ‘prison’ you’re in, whilst trying to make sense of it all if possible.
I hope you’ll enjoy the unfolding narrative; we’ve designed it to guide the player towards the ending with increasing ease. I know the progression might seem repetitive, but the aim is to explore a little and form your own interpretations.
