Festarii we can't really thank you enough for the amazing video you've made (we watched it with the generated subtitles)! It's a fantastic gift and I hope that it gets the attention it deserves. We actually learned a lot about our game watching it, and your considerations about memory and playing are really deep and touching! great job ;)
Thank you so much for your video! It was amazing to see such a passionate and engaged playthrough. The lore is supposed to be very open ended and many interpretations are valid. The whole game is born from our own exploration on a real place and all the strange findings throughout it have inspired the lore and story. Can you find where the place is? ;) Thanks again for streaming our game, it really means a lot to us!
mmm it shouldn't be possible to do the same ending twice if you continue playing on the same playthrough, or maybe you started a new game after ending the first time? Hopefully, otherwise it means there is a bug somewhere! ahah. When you reach an ending you are brought back to the Chapel, and from there if you continue playing and choosing new echoes you get to a different ending. The three endings are more like three 'chapters', three possible alternatives that together should give a sense of what's going on and the lore. The order they happen can feel random, and that's ok it's part of the game, however there is some very subtle internal logic that connects the echoes to the different endings, but it's pretty much open to interpretation!
It really resonates with our approach as well, we call it Real Engine, take a look if you want!
Hey all!
We just released How a Body Sounds, a lore-rich exploration game based on a real world place, check it out! The gameplay is pretty experimental so we'd really value comments and feedbacks!
