I'm easy to irritate, and also on my phone, so this was not the best game for me ^^* I played it anyway because I could and ... well let's say this kinda game and I are not made for each other xD

I do suspect that the controls on phone are a lil slow and not fully working because I wasn't able to enter the arms, so picking up stuff was pretty hard (and foot based)

The game idea is fun tho so points for that

First of all: thank you for making this playable on phone.

I played a lil, didn't make it to the end because it started feeling like a chore. I couldn't see direct feedback of what I was doing and so clicking the choices felt kinda arbitrary. On phone there is also the problem of the click feedback. I think I spend the first 30 years clicking the choice window off most of the times because I didn't know there was a visual feedback and when I realised it became harder to play because the feedback shows only on long hold l, which is slowing down the gameplay.

I like your idea. You chose an incredible complex topic and tried to simplify it. I don't know how you did with the balancing of choices though so I can't give you any feedback on that.

For the topic interpretation I think this is a lil weak because it's only seen in the setup, not in the gameplay.

All in all a good start that would need a lil more work to be fun to play but you are on the right path

Pretty fun game. I got stuck for a lil when I didnt unlock silver yet and couldn't get to the boss anymore but thats probably because I just randomly upgraded. That however was partially due to short press = upgrade and long press = read description. So I often ended up upgrading when I wanted to read the description.

I also encountered a bug on mobile. Later in the game sometimes when I started the next round(?) It would start just where I left off in the old round, so I pretty much instantly died. Usually that happened a few times and then I'd get an actual new round with full life and shield.

I also couldn't make the game a lil smaller on mobile so not quite sure what button I was actually pressing to start the game

Other than that, quite enjoyable game

Awww. Don't worry, lil one is sturdy but I do feel the same ^^

I'm glad you enjoyed playing this

oh sweet. Thank you for playing my game and I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Can I watch the stream somewhere? I'd like to see where you struggled ^^* to learn how to better design levels

thank you so much for this in depth feedback. I'm happy you enjoyed it. 😊

I didn't think of it as a flashbang, but now that you mention it I realise that this will be uncomfortable for some. I used it because thats what it would be like to step out from a very dark room into the sunlit outside

That was all the thought that went into it.

thanks for taking the time to write two comments and thank you for playing my game

Thank you so much. Last jam I didnt get to polish at all and I'm so glad I could get into it this time.

Thank you for playing my game ^^

Awww thank you. But I'm sure you will execute your ideas even better some day ^^
Thank you for playing my game

Thank you so much ^.^

Hii, This is such an interesting idea and a good prototype to build up on.
I had some problems with the three tiles beside each other, I wasn't able to select the middle field to move to it.
It would be nice to see when the cloud is empty, make it smaller maybe, but the only thing I didn't like in this version is that it constantly asks if I'm sure to do something. It takes away from the gameflow. Other than that I really like it. Good job also on the artwork and music

Day7 - Lactose is wreaking my tum. I won't stop anyway
Day 10 - I'm getting REALLY hungry. One spoon each day is hard to function on
Day 33 - spoon is now a bowl. Yay. Finally a decent size meal
Day 35 - one loop stayed in the bowl, how rude
This sugar crystal thingy everyone is talking about sounds scary. Might ignore for a while
Day 37 - maybe I should? Ann says it's awesome
Day 39 - Sooooggy frooootlooops I love you soooooo
Day 40 - I lost two loops again. I'm gonna try sugarium! Here goes!
Day 41 - THIS IS GREAT!!! I'M GOING TO BE THE SUPREME RULER OF SUGAR!!! Wait... SUGAREME RULER! hehe
Day ... 2? - something got lost. Too much milk. Too much toilet time. Where did I go wrong?!?
Day 1 - ASCENDING IS MY DAYS WORK. I FEEL GOD LIKE
Day 2 - Ah yes a new god has to work their way up first
Day 7 - the other ki... uhm gods say that loops are for babies? BUT I'M THE RULER OF SUGARIUM
Day 1 - FEAR ME AND MY SUGARPOWERS!!!
Day 2 - The loops give me power. I give the loops power. this is an endless power loop ^.^

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it

New version with more levels is up now :)

Making levels is fun so I might add more after I got bg music done (which might not happen, but it's better to stay positive)

I'm glad you already enjoyed the smallest version ^^

Thank you so much

(1 edit)

Really like this game even though it took me a while to figure out what to actually do. Usually I skip out fast when that happens but not for this one. It might have been the atmosphere that held me so good job on that. I never play this kinda game so for noobs like me it would be nice to have an active tutorial or at least have the how to play in the menu. Yeah it took me a minute to realize that the question mark in the UI could be helpful ^^* That's on me xD

If you work further on this I would integrate the map function directly into the cockpit to make the whole looking for a site and heading for it smoother. The display of space travel is really nice and immersive already, so why not expand on that.

The sounds do need a bit of balancing, the pickup sound of the drone especially.

All in all I really enjoyed this one. Good job

Love it. Two virologists is the trickiest but using stones they can be separated and made part of the mushroom army hehehe. Really nice puzzle game that's not too easy and not too hard, with good graphics and music.
Gameplay is easily understandable. Awesome submission

This is such a fun take on the topic. Really well done and fun to play

Nice game. Quite polished for 2 weeks. Art and music are engaging and the gameplay is fun.
I do think the theme could have been implemented a lil better as the gameplay is dodging. Good implementation of the game mechanic though

Duuuuude I was not expecting to cry.
Very deep, very sword

the goal is to clean up all the dirt. But there is no win screen so the game feels incomplete even when completed.

I'm a bit confused as to why I need a full screen. I get that some games are missing part of their UI without it and some just look better but Rag, to me is not one of either.  That's why full screen was not on my list of things needed.

Thank you for playing and commenting

I tried making a win screen but couldn't get it to work in time.

Not sure what you mean by a fail state. If you mean  losing the game, that is there and working and you were just too good to trigger it xD

I'm glad you enjoyed the game. Thank you for playing and commenting

I wanted the dirt to make noises to add to the cute vibe but I could barely make the music work xD

The soap at the start refills over time. The soap scattered around the map does not. The same way it would vanish when you spray and then clean an area irl.

Im glad you enjoyed the game. Thank you for playing and giving feedback 🙏

Graphics and music are really fun but I could not get to actually fighting. The moment I pressed a key, be it before or after the fight began, I instantly lost. Same if I didn't press any key.

This might be a browser problem, bc firefox tends to mess games up.
I would have liked to play this

This is so much fun. I got instantly hooked. Music, sfx and animations work so well together.
really good job

I really like the atmosphere you created. The environment is a lil dark for my liking but it fits the gamestyle and the music is really nice
This is not my kind of game so I died almost instantly when the enemies appeared and don't dare to come back ^^* so no opinion from me on the fight mechanics

Really nice submission

Thank you so much for playing and taking the time to comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it

This was a fun play. Gave me nostalgia for early web games.
One thing I found a bit frustrating was the collisions seemed to extend further than the body's so in some constellations there was no way to avoid collision.
I do find the story quite funny and relatable.

I wanted to do so much more ;___;  Especially, like feedback. I think that would have made it much more fun to play and also a winning screen but I am happy that I got something playable.

I knew scope creep was a thing and tried to combat it but with nothing to compare it to I still bit off more than I could chew. That's one thing I learned

You knocked that out of the park. Especially for your first game.
I had some problems understanding the controls but that's bc I need it shown instead of described. A tutorial would have helped with that and also with understanding what was actually happening in the game.
The atmosphere you created is amazing and very apealing. Defo one of the more unique submissions I've seen

Nah you didn't miss the win screen I was actually not able to make that work in time.
Thanks for playing and the feedback. I appreciate it

I made unique swords. Me thinks that would have made them happy.
I could play this for hours just to optimize and have as unique swords as possible. Lots of fun to be had here. Thanks

P.S. You nearly had me rolling on the floor with the appearance of the isekai truck

This is so much fun. I'm not good at jump and runs but the animations and sound effects make it a lot of fun to play

This is such a pretty game. Just for the screenshots I clicked and I stayed for the gameplay. It's fun and engaging. I do think the collisions could be a bit adjusted, I died to spikes that I was only standing close to. Also: why are the goblins so cute? I don't want to kill them ;_;

There is a music bug that when I scroll down or switch to a different window the music glitches out. On firefox, I haven't tested it on more browsers

All the good parts have already been mentioned: addictive, fun, engaging... it's a nice game to play, but
I find the constantly moving background in the menu and all the small moving parts in game hard to deal with. I do understand that some of that is due to shader issues/not enough time for fine-tuning and that you'll work those out but I want to suggest that you give players the choice between background movement during gameplay/in menu and static background. For all those players that get easily overwhelmed. You already started this with giving the choice of shake or no shake in settings. I really appreciated that.
I'm looking forward to seeing how you polish this one up.

Such a fun play
I usually get quite anxious and panicky in survivor-likes but this one was really enjoyable. From the graphics, really loved the goblins and the colours of the floor gave it a lively feeling, to the music being relaxing instead of tension inducing.Really nice game, good job
