The game is free 99.9% of the time. There is only a 5 day window where there's a BETA release for subscribers, and after that the bug-fixed public version comes out for free.

This tends to happen when you apply an update patch to a version that's too old. The patch is to upgrade the v0.07.25 Beta -> v0.07.25 Public. It cannot upgrade older versions like v0.07c to v0.07.25.

If you're talking about starting a game using the "start from an older update" option, there's an item in your inventory to change your name just like with the "latest update" option.

If you're talking about an old save of your own, where you've already selected your own name but now want to change it again, you'll need to head to Sal's Market and speak directly to one of the clerks (as opposed to over the counter) to buy the name change item

If you select the "debug room", yes. But that's not what Bread was talking about. You need to select the "Reset Android Controls" option. If that option isn't there, you don't have the latest Android hotfix version which came out only hours after the initial public release.

For now, in each update the crystal in your room will tell you about missable scenes. Something more comprehensive will be set up in the future.

Yes, we will add support for various languages in the far future, likely near the end of development as it is a logistical nightmare to keep up support for languages during active development.

Compressed versions may be available in the future once we've sorted out other logistical issues in the way of that.

The game does not run in 4K—the canvas is 1080x720—less than 1080p.

As a side note, maybe that'd change to 1920x1080 in the future if reasonably viable, once other more pressing things have been handled.

A compressed version wouldn't fix something like that, something is up with your system or something went wrong.

We haven't heard of it running that poorly on any system, so unsure what would cause that.

We'd love to and will have translations done for the game when nearing the end of development. The logistics involved to have translations done while development is on-going is beyond what is reasonable for our small team.

No, there's no need to use an external keyboard. You can toggle between on-screen controls and touch (tap to move and interact) with the dot in the top right — provided you downloaded the official Android version here.

We would very much like to translate the game into many languages so anyone can play while understanding the story. However, we wish to have the translations professionally done, which means it will be near the end of development as it is very expensive and takes a lot of work and time even for just a single language.

v.07.25 is smaller in scope than our usual updates, that's why the progress bars are moving faster. v.07.5 is probably going to be the size of a normal update, so it won't go as fast as this. v.X.5 updates feature the "Core Four": Leslie, Ashley, Cassie, and Brandy. How much content each character gets will differ depending on the story beats involved.

We don't do estimates for releases. You can check the progress logs to see how far along development we are
