Answer from our Discord FAQ:

Why do I get a "Failed to Initialize Graphics" error / black screen?
You need to update your graphics drivers directly from the manufacturer's site. Make sure they are up-to-date—and don't rely on Windows Update or similar, as they always lag behind. If it still doesn't work, and you know for a fact that your drivers are up-to-date, then your system does not meet the minimum requirements to run the latest version of the game.

Compatibility Patch
Should your system be old enough that even the latest available driver does not fix the issue, try the compatibility patch and see if that works for you.
WARNING: Only use the compatibility patch if you are certain the game won't run otherwise, because the game will run poorly in comparison to the normal version of the game. The patch can be found [at the download links above], the same place you download the game.

You have 3 options.

1. Drag the save folder from the old version into the new one (and overwrite if needed).

2. You can move individual save files instead, e.g. "file1", but you also need to move the "global" file as that holds the information about which save slots have data. The "config" file has your settings.

3. Make a new save in the new version in slot 1. Then transfer the old save you want such as "file5" to the new save folder and re-name it to "file1" after deleting the other "file1" you just made by saving in slot 1. This would give you the cleanest slate in terms of cleaning up old saves you may not be using.

That bug was present in a (paid) supporter-only build for less than 24 hours, and was never available to the public through places like itch. Please be sure to download the game through official links, as 99.9% of the time the public build's the latest one.
The supporter-only BETA is only relevant for 5 short days.

Our pinned Discord help message:
"My camera broke/game zoomed in and now it doesn't follow my character"

You've downloaded a pirated version that is outdated and broken. Get the latest official version.
Once you've transferred your save(s), either load a save before the camera broke or use the phone's debug menu to reset the camera.

It not being available directly on itch.io is not a choice of ours. They have limits to both how large games are allowed to be, and the number of files you're allowed to have. With an ever-expanding game that will have tens of thousands of hand-drawn images, it's not possible with their current rules. If I could, I would've already made it work with the launcher and everything.

You can transfer any desktop saves as you'd like. E.g, Windows to macOS, or macOS to Linux etc.

You cannot transfer (export/import) mobile saves to or from PC, macOS, or Linux.

When they win the subscriber vote for the character(s) to get the next focus update.

Voting is going on right now over on Subscribestar.

We don't give estimates on update releases until a handful of weeks before it's released. So make use of the very post you've commented on (or rather, find the up-to-date progress log), and see how far in development we are. More progress logs are posted weekly.

There's content for Leslie in every update (unless otherwise specified).

Yes, v0.06 had Brenda's route and some Leslie content. v0.06.5 had more content for Leslie, Ashley, Cassie and Brandy.

Although I take part in creating it now, Breadman's the one who started the game project.

Some people install it from 3rd party sources because they don't know any better, some do it for the reasons you mentioned. However, 3rd party sources often provide outdated (often pirated "BETA") versions that possibly have game-breaking bugs (which are already fixed in the latest official build).
Modified versions go way beyond outdated in that they indeed modify the game directly, and can cause issues that have absolutely nothing to do with us, the official developers. It's not possible to provide support for modified builds.

All we can do is tell people to make use of the official download locations to make sure they have the latest build. From there they can seek more support on our Discord in the #help-and-bug-report chat if they still require help.

Regardless, we're glad people enjoy our game. Thanks for playing.

Thank you for the response!

I had honestly forgotten using gods at some point during the grinding, because late-stage gallery grinding it's quicker to skip everything and jump straight to killing the stage 2 boss and getting whatever you need in stage 3. So I'll be making use of Fluf immediately to get those elusive animations!

I look forward to the tutorial stuff and related tweaks.

I would not say it's disappointing, as I am a developer myself and understand all your reasoning haha. Of course it would be great to add all the best stuff, but if you're not at that point yet with animation then you're just not there yet. In that case I'll simply look forward to it hopefully being part of your future games!

Hey, love the game. Just have a question and some feedback.

So a big issue is lack of explanation and general information. I've been trying to 100% the gallery, and the "Bardic magic" one stumped me for so long, and it was what led me to find out you can change the spell types. I had really difficult quests and it took forever for me to get the summon type, and all the while I didn't even know if that was the mystical "Sweeping Reach" I was looking for. I think the gallery hint should be clarified. Beyond that I also suggest not making spell types consumable, because it eliminates experimentation. I can't risk changing something once I've got something working, because I don't know when I can get another consumable. Or let us re-roll quests as we want.
The second one is the various patch animations. Having Gwynn/Zuzu as leader is not explained. I did figure it out eventually (in relation to getting the normal animations with the other characters), but that was just the beginning. I have been grinding for a couple hours, and 2 of the patches are more difficult than others to get in stage 3 where you can have Gwynn or Zuzu as the leader. The Blooming Geyser was difficult to find on stage 3, and it has been 2 hours now where I've only been looking for a stage 3 carrot patch. My only guess is I need to use a compas to upgrade a stage or something, or my luck is just that terrible... Or you can somehow change the leader without them getting taken. So my suggestion is to give information on what can be found in any stage you hover over. Main character, enemies, patches. Maybe even for each stage, but if it's all the same info, then add a hint in the gallery for which stage has the opportunity to find the event.
How to pick up fruits was also a mystery. Was very late game I figured out using branches on trees somehow dropped fruit. "I can gather fruits from fruit trees with these".

As for my question, the animations are great, but there's just never a climax. Obviously it'd be great if each animation had a climax, but if that's too much logistics-wise, I was wondering if it's at least possible for the final completion of each character. It adds a lot to have the final "finish" (especially when we see pregnancy like in this game), and likewise I think it takes away from it to never see the climax. Monster Monsoon does pretty good with that in the TV broadcasts, even if not animated, and also has the "issue" of missing said climax scenes in all the other animations. I was just wondering if it'd ever be something more common in your games because it's probably the biggest missing piece for me that makes it difficult to enjoy to its fullest, and all my peers I've talked with directly seem to agree to varying degrees.
