I don't see where you got the idea that I suggest making it more lax. I suggested having the KYC process before you publish a game if you want it to be indexed. If you don't want it to be indexed, it can stay whatever. Again, as you might've noticed, I never had that issue myself, and I'm here on behalf of the community. Don't give an excuse for leafo to let this go. Although he doesn't need one.

People posted here not to get their games indexed, but to flag an issue for you. I don't want to be rude, but what you're doing is completely unfair and just makes the only decent platform for hobbyist developers unusable. I don't know what you think you're achieving, but people are just desperate to get some attention, and you call it an "unusual activity" lol. Flagged for human review, we get it, you don't have staff to review things, but idk, add a notification at least? Implement some sort of KYC for the developers? I never dealt with that issue myself, I'm just here on behealf ot others, and what I've seen is kinda disgusting. Sorry, my dude. I know how it is, and you're gonna keep getting a steady flow of games, but for the love of people who are starting out, give them some kind of option 😒 IDK take 1$ payments to post the game without that issue or something if you have to.

I find that, overall, the way itch has been treating search indexation lately is mental. This is the last resort for indie devs, and if you look at /recent its still tons of crap, so I feel like, why even bother idk... A lot of games just aren't getting indexed for unknown reasons. IF there's something at play (like reports or something) could you at least somewhat surface that data?

we don’t deserve this

ok

You're in luck, I'm releasing a Steam game next year, here's a demo! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3730820/Dicewood_Demo

отличный выбор жанра :krutoblin:

Honestly this is pretty great, idk why it has no comments and ratings, check this game out!

Hey! I don't have plans on updating this game in the near future :( But you can check out my latest game, the demo just came out today https://store.steampowered.com/app/3730820/Dicewood_Demo/

there can't be an android, the game is keyboard-controlled people!

I just tested it and it worked fine. Did you fulfill both objectives? [6] and [20]

Thank you for checking out my older games. I appreciate it :)

That's a problem on some macs :'( You can disable post processing in the settings (ESC) and it'll work for you.

Great visual novel! The twist caught me off guard, great job!

genius

Thank you! I appreciate the comment. Making games is hard, any encouragement is worth a lot. I wish you luck on your journey as well!

You can clear browser cache if you’re on the web, like go into incognito mode and hit ctrl shift R, I didn’t implement a restart feature for a game jam 😅

Great! Good art, good game design. I got hooked.

just like the good old day

Damn, what a nice character! World looks so bright and interesting.

Dude this wave mechanic is amazing! 10/10!

Wow! SO polished. I love the 3D assets and the game mechanics. The hair physics is so cool! It makes it feel real. It's optimized as well! It shows that you paid a lot of attention to it. Good job!

Thanks for the comment! I was trying to get a casual feel for this one, at some point I’ll make a revised version with a tighter balance. I’m glad you’ve liked it anyway! True endings are related to the “????” card. 😁

Hey! Thanks for playing, seeing someone like my game always makes me happy. The third ending is when you defeat the witch and then go left instead of going right.

The card thing is a bug though I’ll need to fix that!

Hey! Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the game!

The ??? card is required to get the true ending at the final boss.

Thanks for this extensive review, it's really good!

I agree on all points, I had a rough (but fun) time putting this together alone so I just decided to roll with some imperfections on the initial release and see how it goes if at least the general direction is right, if people like the setting and stuff.

I'm thinking of a way of reworking the deck and the mana system. I've had some ideas after getting the feedback from this release.

Getting cards to combo or make them being used tactically in a bullet hell proved to be a surprisingly hard challenge that requires ton of iteration.

It's nice that you've mentioned One Step from Eden it's a great game, and I've been looking to make a more casual version of this sort of experience! Albeit I only found out that this game exists after completing 90% of this game.

Overall I'll be looking to improve things, thank you so much for your review again!

Hey man thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. The black deck thing is sort of a gag I thought it would be funny.

The final boss can be easy if you have your cards upgraded, I'm still ironing out the balance to get more depth from the cards.

Thank you guys! <3

Nice! Black and White in medieval art aesthetic with indirect control. Very impressive.

Ahh, shame there is no end condition. What a lovely game. I really like the way you build the onboarding in your submissions! Great job.

Epic! Multiple endings really spice things up! I was not expecting that! Just UH!! SPOILERS: I chose to live because it was not my fault, I was poisoned!

There's a project in the making with the face out vibes, follow my account if you're interested. It'll be there.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you for this awesome jam!
