THIS IS SOOOOO AWESOMEEE!!! I love your art so much! The content warnings being displayed as food safety label things is honestly so big brain and funny, and I loved all the character designs and interactions. Your drawings always have so much energy and life to them. My favourite part of the zine was the part from the 'prey' perspective, the panel of the charater curled up in the stomach feeling so happy about getting eaten is so sweet honestly. 10/10 zine fr

This is extremely good and you made phenomenal use of the game engine to tell a story about the lack of agency young transfems are granted over their bodies and appearances. The dialogue between the two voices and the ways that different dialogue options are presented to the player, but then not actually used [the player is not allowed to assert themselves or come out] feels so painful. Really well made and really important.
This is really awesome! The text resonated with me and idk how intentional this was, but a lot of the outfites reminded me of stuff that transmedicalists circa the 2010s would draw caricatures of nonbinary/other transmasc ppl they didn;t like wearing. It makes me happy to see those kind of colourful and feminine aesthetics being reclaimed.
Today I met up with two transfem friends of mine. I met them years ago at a trans youth group we attended. When I first met one of my friends she was also denying her transwomanhood and staying in the neutral 'I'm nonbinary but maybe it isn't going to be abig deal for me' stage, now she's 4 years on estrogen and wears her E bottle on a necklace, is getting electrolysis, and has a loving girlfriend who's also a transwoman. We talked today abt how around the time before the pandemic began, she was just beginning to realize that she was actually a woman, and it feels kind of profound to me that today I've read this little game about a similar person at the beginning of the journey my friend has been on for years now. While right wing politicians are always scary and shitty we also don't need their approval to build our happiness. Making these big changes, accepting that you are who you are, unlearning ideas about gender, is scary but each day it gets a little easier. You will find happiness. Nothing and nobody can take that from you.
This is an amazing story and great game! I absolutely adored it. The writing is atmospheric and precise, the characterisation is strong from the snippets of detail we get and there's lots of small but well done moments - like the (mild spoiler) doctor noticing that the mc is a smoker from the ash on her boots, something we learn in an earlier scene, which establishes the instant connection between these characters through how they observe one another.
The visuals and presentation are absolutely stunning.
I found the mechanic section absolutely impossible to understand though and had to watch the walkthrough.
Thank you soo much!! I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed it. I've spent a lot of time thinking about piss play and how it relates to a lot of different subjects for me, so I'm really happy to see people responding to those thoughts and hopefully gaining a deeper appreciation for the depths of human sexuality, if that isn't too pretentious lol. And getting the code to work for the count down was so fucking annoying but it was worth it. I'm excited to learn how to do other stuff in Twine :)
I enjoyed this and thought it was rlly funny! It's always nice to see gay experiences depicted in a casual way that feels realistic to me - gay dating is like everything else in life: hard fucking work!!! The comedic timing and writing was very good, in particular the character writing is excellent. You get a very strong sense of who these people are and their quirks from very short encounters with them. The use of the gaming engine for comedy was also really well done, like a character's name changing to "guy who orders drinks like an asshole". The ending was super cute :)
This is such a rich story and world with inspired visual presentation. The backgrounds are stunning and create an incredible atmosphere, and there's really interesting design choices that elevate the storytelling (like the flashback sprites being on the left of the sceen).
This is clearly a world and story that asks to be engaged with again and again, and I can already see how multiple playthroughs will add more and more meaning to these characters.
I think this exploration of pain and the way it influences sexuality, among other things, was really, really poignant.
