Amazing game, I dont have much to say but the gameplay, visuals and audio are all super unique and well made! It gets pretty hectic once you make a mistake and have to pull yourself together on the fly. Would be cool to be able to play without the tutorial and have it be harder from the get go as the first 120 seconds are pretty easy (which is good for first time players). Structure reminds me of fnaf and other sort of “micro management” horror games, so I was half expecting a jumpscare haha

What a charming gem of a game! Love every aspect from the visuals to the music and sounds. Gameplay is super unique and I liked how each character has their own abilities and the resource management is really cool. I did manage to softlock the game though idk how and im not sure what the fishing ability does? Regardless, very solid entry!
yoo thanks for playing! i will definitely improve the game in the future. In my original concept getting a hint would unlock an entry in the brewpedia (which i didnt have time to add ;-;) which actually goes into more detail. pressing E should bring up a menu in the grind phase, maybe it was bugged for you? making it playable mouse only is also on my list, controller might be a bit weird though. it was also going to be a bit more interactive (i was going to have you weigh the coffee yourself) but i decided its too complicated and not instrumental to the gameplay. as for the text being pixelated thats a result of the low resolution, but i have a few ideas to make it more readable. thanks for the in depth analysis, very helpful for the future of the game ;)
thank you so much! glad you stuck with it, I think what is missing is a quick sequence showing you how it looks when you get it 100% right so you can then experiment on your own and know what youre aiming for. Progression wise there is only one step above “pretty good” so you actually got really close :)
I got to wave 17 by which time my guy was already maxed out :) Very fun game. Not a lot of spinning in the gameplay, but i dont care because the the idea is very well executed. Sprites and animations remind me a lot of Terraria with Calamity Mod, very satisfying. The sounds, slow mo on hit and enemies flashing also add a lot of polish. The space ability is super dope, feels great to use. Balance wise i found it weird that the shift ability would use energy since the space ability basically already fulfills its purpose and more, so i ended up not using it. The game is not terribly difficult, but the upgrades give a very nice sense of progression :) Solid job overall!
I rated this game right at the start of the jam but im leaving a comment now that ive managed to beat Yue (3 times in a row on the same save file 😎). Absolute banger, idk if the affinity/weakness table is new or I missed it the first time but it was a huge help in making my strat. I picked 2 big sections, marketing and another one that together cover the entire spectrum without overlap then got a few smaller sections to counter anything that beats my 2 main ones, that with Vice President + Clerk build. I also finally figured out what the prestige is (I thought it was money first lol I was wondering where’s the shop). The dialogue and story is incredibly charming, level of polish and animation in the UI reminds me of Persona and the visuals are a very good match for the theme and are a great choice for a jam. One of my favs in the jam, solid job
not the inquisition lmao - satisfying little game, i admit i didnt reach the end (i gave up while crafting the ent) because its a little slow in some regards: as you level up the wheel, making money becomes easier but getting crafting materials actually becomes harder? because your chance of landing on what you need decreases. Maybe I just dont get the optimal strat. That being said I had fun while playing and the art and sound design are very polished. Solid job :)
Awesome game! Art, writing and sound design are all top notch. Gameplay really shines in the last 2 fights (difficulty spikes a bit at the 2nd to last fight), especially the final one, I had to pay attention to the attack patterns. Extremely cool that you can block the enemy’s top with your zipline thing. Overall very polished entry and I would really appreciate if Lucy’s sister could dm me thank you :)
Fellow barista! thank you for playing! Had my doubts abt the idea, but im happy u found it creative :) As for Yura, she can definitely be a bit much lol, I agree there needs to be some sort of progression and some sort of very basic tutorial (i think just walking you through all the parameters you can change would go a long distance). Sugar and cream minigame is also really cool, making latte art also involves a lot of spinning, many places to expand, thanks for the suggestions o7
An absolute joy to play, its amazing how much content you managed to pack in this game, the music, the sound effects, the graphics, they all are such a vibe. I think I got almost everything there is (i missed the cosmetics). A small nitpick because im an asshole, add a spring arm to the camera so it doesnt clip into the walls in tighter sections and its literally a flawless entry
I played it through to the end it didnt get old for a second. The in world models and ui is really awesome and i just find the shop really cool in particular. Really see the vision here. Thats why i have a few small nitpicks and things that id add: the camera transitions are a bit too slow imo and the linear easing isnt super pleasant for slow movements (i think emulating the movement of persona 5 menus would go so hard for this game), i wish there was a bit of an indicator when youre charging the dash, doesnt have to be a bar, just a vignette and maybe some effects would be cool (the sound does offer some of that) and maybe some more juice and sound effects all around. Balance wise I dont think you made the game too hard, its very doable after a few upgrades. Kind of got cut off short actually, so maybe making it a bit longer and adding a difficulty curve would help there. Again im just nitpicking, Baller game overall
Really fun! Especially once you get the hang of things. Style is very nice and dialogue is endearing. I dont know if the starting loadout is too impactful, at least i dont see a reason to change it myself. I think if certain things could change your wheel mid run and the difficulty curve is tweaked a bit (I found it a little easy after I realized what you need to do) and all round fleshed out and expanded, this could very well be a paid game, good job :)
very charming cross between 3d platformer and puzzle game, dont see too many 3d platformers in general, so kudos for that! The character controller feels tight and the animations are great. Sounds and music are very well made. Was ready for more after the 3rd level, still its pretty crazy you got 3 polished levels in the time frame. And the little spark when you fly in the sky made me chuckle, great game
Fun and intuitive puzzle game! Had fun optimizing my route to not run out of moves. My only question is does the game calculate that there is no possible solution and game over early? Because sometimes I lose with 30 moves remaining consistently on a specific route. If so, thats a strange decision, Id like to play it til the end to see what i did wrong.
Game was really fun, the effects have a lot of juice to them. I died pretty quickly in every run bc im bad. It also seems that if u hold A or D while hopping around your velocity isnt clamped and you can bhop a bit like a source game, not sure if thats intended but its really fun and adds counterplay to the fast turtles since you can go quite fast. The only thing id add is a way to customize your build or some sort of decision making on that front that isnt RNG, but overall, great job :)
