thanks for trying!

I absolutely loved the shader used for the scene transitions! There are so many mesmerizing visual effects like that throughout the game. On top of that, the new mechanics introduced as the levels progressed kept surprising me. It was a really fun experience!

Have a good trip. I'll try your game now.

Simple idea, great execution and atmosphere. I loved the music and the interface. My high score is 10 wave.

i'm on it

The retro vibe of the game is simply captivating! You really nailed it with everything from the visuals to the sound effects. Also, I absolutely loved that little detail on the controls screen!

looks interesting

I tried it and I enjoyed it!

cool characters!

Such a sweet take on a classic idea! I really loved the visuals, and the level design and variety were fantastic.

I really loved the character designs! It took me a bit of time to understand the game, but it was really fun once I figured it out. Pretty good for a first jam!

Charming visuals and sound effects! I also really loved how the game evolved as the levels progressed. Great job!

I'm trying right now!

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I totally agree that the tutorial is lacking; I actually left out quite a few features there. As for the Web build, I only thought about doing it after the jam ended, so I was a bit too late on that one.

Thank you for your kind comments!

I really loved the visuals, and the amount of animation is just incredible! Also, the merging of the little guys felt super smooth. There was a great variety of upgrades, and the music really pulled me into the game. It would have been nice if the early waves were a bit shorter and more rewarding, though. Wonderful game!

let's a look then!

Gotcha!

It had a bit of a learning curve for me at first, but once I got the hang of it, I had a lot of fun! I also really loved the game's sense of humor.

You've done a fantastic job, congratulations to you and your team!

WOW! We are looking at a game where every single aspect has been crafted with so much care. I especially loved the UI—someone here must be a DOTween master! The amount of variety blew me away, and the visual feedback was just spot-on. I also really liked how the game structure is cleanly divided into states. In such a complete and solid game, my only small critique would be that the in-game asset placement could have been arranged a bit better.

What a fun, chaotic experience! I never expected to panic this much while trying to save the workers. The variety of hazards was also really impressive! My only suggestion is that a faster, more intense background track would have fit the chaotic vibe much better.

sounds great! let me try

Haha, yeah, you're absolutely right—the tutorial was definitely rushed! To shed some light on the mechanics: Doods sharing the same building or workplace will get along or clash depending on their personality traits. Their happiness changes based on having a roof over their heads, a job to go to, and how you respond to those random city events.

I really loved the atmosphere you created, and wow, the core concept of the game is super creative! The sound effects also did a great job of building up tension in several moments. It would be awesome if there was more distinct visual feedback when the character takes damage!

Let's try!

I really liked the overall consistency of the UI, and the way the platform tilts slightly as you move is a really nice touch. My high score is 25!

of course!

Hey everyone!

Now that the submission rush is over, I want to play, test, and rate as many jam games as possible!

If you drop the link to your game in the comments below, I will gladly play your submission, leave honest feedback, and rate it. In return, I would really appreciate it if you could check out my project and leave a rating as well.

My game, The Dood's Universe, is a cozy town builder where you physically hand-draw everything from scratch—including the buildings and your miniature citizens, the Doods—and manage their lives as Mayor.

Let's help each other out and share some constructive feedback. Drop your links below and let's get playing!

Hey everyone!

As a solo developer, I am exhausted but thrilled to finally submit my project, The Dood's Universe, right in the final hours of the jam!

My game is a cozy, systemic town builder where you physically hand-draw everything from scratch—including the ground, the buildings, and even your miniature citizens, the Doods. Once you bring them to life, you step into the role of Mayor to manage the city treasury, handle town events, and observe the unique social dynamics and relationships that naturally develop between the quirky citizens you created.

I would really appreciate your feedback on the drawing mechanics and overall balance. If you leave your links below, I will gladly try your games in return!
