Hi there just letting you know on my first playthrough I fell off the world by walking towards the wall at the beginning when you can control your character. Only fix was to restart.

This one is great, very spooky!! the chase music gets on my nerves and the needy mascot makes me wanna pull out my hair. This is certainly a game I’ll save just to see my friends suffer ;) Oh I’ll definitely come back to try and beat it, for now the double chase survival sequence was too hard for me. That minute feels like three minutes, super tense and creepy. I would like to have some sort of visual cue to know when does the dog starts losing patience and might charge at you. But overall great work!
I ATE THE GRUMPUS !!! Didn’t have much meat tho… I love this game, the intro and the concept itself it’s very attractive. I can see myself playing a game like this for hours and hours, this game could be expanded into a full game with lots of mechanics different rooms and what not like tboi does. Really enjoyed it, it made me take risks and actually strategize. Thumbs up!
I had a couple of issues at the beginning, I didn’t know I had a lantern or an inventory so for a while I just wandered around in pitch black darkness. I also had to lower the graphics and limit the fps because my pc was loud. Encountered some bugs like the phone ringing constantly even after using it, also there was this time where I pushed a button on the basement which killed me but the game autosaved at that point so every time I reload I’m on a dead state and can’t move or open the menu. So, good graphics, nice design mascot and good setting I would like to learn more about the mascot and it’s origin. I can see there is a good game here that can be polished and I’ll keep an eye on the updates! gg
Amazing experience, very polished I must say. I see there was a lot of attention to detail like the tv videos, the vector graphics on the tv, the breathing under the bed, the animations all very smooth.
I like the atmosphere inside the house and I also really liked spamming the flashlight recharge button, it’s an interesting concept because usually in games like this you are very vulnerable and at the mercy of the monster but just being able to make that loud noise gives me a defense tool even if only psychological. I like the idea of screaming louder than the monster can scream at me. That mechanic could definitely be explored more. Also I find it interesting how zippy didn’t really had a reason to harm us at the beginning but since we kept blinding him he has now justification to be evil. Great job and congrats for your first 3D game!
Man this game is visually amazing, it’s exactly the kind of vibe I look for in indie horror games. This game excels at a lot of things, graphics, story, sounds, voice acting, animations, etc. But unfortunately the controls are clunky which wouldn’t normally be a problem except there is a parkour section with time limit and the platforms are faster than you so you have to be very precise.
I mean, don’t get me wrong I’m all for a challenge but the real problem is every time you fall you have to repeat the whole introductory video and the fruit collecting section which is also tedious because the hitboxes for picking up the fruit are misaligned and very small so you have to wave your mouse around until you detect the exact point where it allows you to pick it up. Not to mention the characters moves in steps so it’s not very precise either. I gave up after the 10th attempt but I watched a gameplay video and I must say the rest of the game is excellent.
Anyway. Sorry about the complaining I know this is a month long jam and I still think you did a great job! This game has great ideas and I’m looking forward for Alpha 3!! <3
This was certainly an interesting narrative experience. I don’t often play games like this but this one got me puzzled. I’m still trying to interpret the meaning of the child coming in at the same day the guy got out, and how that relates to the riots… But overall I enjoyed the atmosphere, at the beginning I complained about the lack of shadows, but then it was clear why that is. The switch to red and back to white was impactful. Good game!
