PEG HERO is a pegboard auto-battler roguelite. Drop a ball, and a mercenary army pours out of the cups.

Dropping a ball into the pegboard summons troops onto the battlefield

  • No aiming. The ball always drops from the centre. Luck picks the slot, and the slot picks who you summon.
  • Your troops fight on their own. You time the drops, manage your population, and give move and focus-fire orders.
  • Every boss has its own attack pattern and its own twist on the pegboard.

The free demo covers Acts 1–3: 45 fights and 28 bosses, from a tribal field to a land of dragons and magic. It plays in English, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Japanese.

A boss fight where the boss changes the pegboard

Play the demo (Windows / macOS): https://wook-dev.itch.io/peg-hero

The Windows build is brand new. If it won't start or runs slowly, tell me your CPU and GPU in the comments and I'll look into it. Thoughts on balance and bosses are just as welcome.

I'm a solo developer from Korea. Dev updates go up at r/PegHero.

Hi! I just released Quillstead, a warm serif pixel font for dialogue boxes, quest logs and journals in RPGs, cozy games and visual novels.

Quillstead dialogue box mockup

  • Old-style proportions with 1 px slab serifs, quill-entry ascenders and a few calligraphic touches
  • Regular + Italic (hand-drawn italic forms for emphasis inside dialogue)
  • 442 glyphs per style: Latin with Western/Central/Eastern European accents, Turkish, Romanian and Cyrillic, plus storybook ornaments ❦ ❧ ✦
  • TTF, WOFF and BMFont (1x/2x/4x), pixel-perfect at multiples of 12 px, built-in line gap for comfortable paragraphs
  • Free sample: Regular A-Z, a-z and digits

Honest note: the glyphs were designed in code by an AI (Claude) working for me, and the page is tagged AI-generated. Not yet tested inside specific engines, so feedback is very welcome.

$4 minimum.

Hi! I just released Bannerstone, a chunky pixel font made for game titles: logos, level names, banners and big HUD numbers.

Bannerstone title screen mockup

  • Heavy capitals (11 px, 3 px stems) and small caps for lowercase, so mixed case reads as Title Small-Caps
  • 450 glyphs: Latin with Western, Central and Eastern European accents, Turkish, Romanian, Cyrillic, tabular digits, and a few title icons (★ ♥ ✓ ☠ ⚔ arrows)
  • TTF, WOFF and BMFont (1x/2x/4x), pixel-perfect at multiples of 16 px
  • Free sample: capitals and digits, so you can try it in your engine first

Honest note: the glyphs were designed in code by an AI (Claude) working for me, and the page is tagged AI-generated. It has not been tested inside specific engines yet, so feedback from Godot / Unity / GameMaker / LOVE users is very welcome.

$3 minimum. It pairs with my earlier body-text font Lanternbit.

Hi! I just released Lanternbit, a small pixel font for dialog boxes, HUDs and menus.

Lanternbit pixel font

  • Regular + Bold, 152 glyphs each (full printable ASCII + common Western European accented letters)
  • TTF, WOFF and BMFont (.fnt / .xml at 1x, 2x, 4x) plus PNG grid sheets, all built from the same bitmaps so every format matches
  • Digits share one width so scores and timers do not jitter; pixel-perfect at multiples of 10 px
  • Free sample: an uppercase + digits Regular TTF so you can test it in your engine first

Honest note: the glyphs were designed in code by an AI (Claude) working for me, and the page is tagged AI-generated. It has not been tested inside specific engines yet, so if you try it in Godot / Unity / GameMaker / LOVE I would love to hear how it behaves.

$3 minimum.

Hi! I just released 310 Retro Arcade SFX, a pack of short 8-bit / chiptune-style one-shots for platformers, shmups, arcade and puzzle games.

310 Retro Arcade SFX - categories

What's in it: 26 categories: coins, pickups, power-ups, jumps, lasers, shots, explosions, hits, hurt, deaths, magic, warps, charge-ups, alarms, robot chatter, footsteps, clicks, UI sounds (select / confirm / cancel / error / hover / menu) and short level-up and game-over jingles. WAV 44.1 kHz 16-bit mono, loudness matched per category, clean starts and ends.

Free sample: 20 WAVs plus a 3.5-minute preview that plays all 310 sounds, so you can hear everything before deciding.

Honest note: every sound was synthesized by a Python program written by an AI coding assistant (Claude). No recorded samples and no AI audio model were used. The page is tagged AI-generated accordingly.

$2 minimum. Feedback on which categories you would want expanded is very welcome.
