Hey your art looks cool, did you find a team yet? I am planning on trying a full 3D game, added you on discord if you haven’t found a team yet

Dam, looks interesting but sadly the build is not playable Dx Should have made a build with the windows option and then zipped and uploaded it so people could download and try on windows.

Definitely unique, loved the developer notes and voice acting xD

Amazing work for just 3 hours of development!

I’m bad at this :3 Good work though, fun little game.

Interesting concept!

Other than overcooked, it reminds me of a mini game in a game called ‘our world’ where you’d roleplay as a waiter and serve actual players xD Well done!

Thanks! will definitely try!

The character movement and animation/audio feedbacks feels nice and satisfying! Great work with the trails and vfx as well!

I struggled.. hard :3

How in the 9 realms did you even manage that, I can barely make a score of 1:40… are you sure you did not take your best lap and multiply that be 3 (^ > ^) suspicious.. I should try having a leaderboard next time lol

Very unique concept! I enjoyed it

A fun little game, nostalgic! :)

Interesting game, it says bullets and gunner switch roles, but I only see a bullet, no gunners :P Congratz on finishing and submitting!

Really enjoyed the concept, killed all the hunters by day 3 haha

As I mentioned in the guidelines, “ Currently there are no rewards for winning, I am thinking of what a small indie dev could offer. “ I’m thinking of giving away game assets from the games I make as a reward but it will still be a while before I finish my horror game. I can share some of the 3D assets I made for my game so far as a small prize :)

That’s amazing! I do think its still worth switching to UE5 and starting to learn it since UE4 will not be getting new updates. Keep practicing, your doing great!

Haha, 2 years is a long time! by the time you finish 1 year of practicing game dev daily, you’ll be able to make this game from start to finish in a week instead of 2 months.

Great progress already, its awesome to see your thinking about how input will work across different devices like mobile and desktop!

Looking forward to seeing you improve and make some really fun games!

I wont be able to do multiple playtest like a normal tester would since the irony of being a game dev is we barely have time to play games xD

But I’m happy to play through it again when its in open beta or release!

The music SLAPS, loved the background track! I loved the art too, specially the overgrown ruined buildings. I feel the map is too big since the only goal is to kill 20 zombies, takes too long to find them all, would be more interesting with some more things to do or a smaller map.

Still, really well done! Could be a really fun survival game with a lot more gameplay mechanics put into it.

I loved this game, the intro images that tell the story like a comic were awesome. I really liked that this has no jump scares but is scary just on its own, I do think it is a bit too hard, the point where I gave up was when I hit the switch but the creature still got me.. because the light did not cover the switch area, I would recommend having the lights cover the switches at least so the player consistently knows that the area around the switch is safe.

Everything else is great, the art, the sounds and ambience, the design.. the gameplay even gave me goosebumps and I was immersed! Great work on this!

(I recorded my playthrough but due to some technical issues it did not record the gameplay properly, what did you use to make the game? it changes the monitor resolution)

This is actually the first backrooms game I have played, was not sure what to expect and went in blind. I think I got lucky and found the exit quite fast.

The recorder and screen effects looks really nice! The sound design is quite good but I think you could add some creature sounds as well, for example the hazmat suit creature could have some gas mask breathing audio as he gets closer.. would definitely make it scarier, right now its not as scary since it moves quite slow.

I am a sci-fi nerd and I loved the Pluto thing at the end, I would have loved more story surrounding the game and character. Regardless, its a good short experience, well done!

This is a cool game, the enemy lurking around the corner made me jumpy xD I could not escape even though I managed to escape the office, the enemy chased me down. The art is quite good but the lighting could use some improvements.. specially the point light on the player, its too bright, its hard to read text when your close to a wall. You should give UE5 a try and check out lumen.

It is impressive how much content you managed to make for the game jam, amazing effort!

I really enjoyed this, I have played slay the spire :) Not quite survival horror but well done on the mechanics and gameplay for the game! Not sure how I feel about AI art but it does fit in this case and it is an interesting use case, the generated is quite good. One thing the game could use is a lot more game balance, testing and more UI/tooltip improvements to explain what the icons/status effects do (like weakness/strength.. how do they actually affect my damage, etc)

This is a nice game, it goes really well with the survival theme. I really liked the sandbox like area where you can chop trees and get item drops. Even the different zombies that behave slightly differently and the two zones are really cool.

Sadly I never found a single phone drop so I couldn’t complete the mission, I would suggest improving the drop chance to at least 2/100 or 5/100 for zombies since there is not a lot to explore story/lore wise, with some more work and a story mode, it would be a really cool game!

I played through your game and found it quite interesting, I have never used scratch so that was new to me as well. I really like the concept of the game, the audio was very.. indie but it surprisingly works to unnerve me with those whispers xD I did not fully understand the story, I could not figure out how to complete part 3 so I probably missed some of the story/lore. I really liked it though and I think with some more polish, story telling and more options/endings, it could be a really fun game experience.

One quality of life improvement I would love to see is a save game mechanic! Great work on the game though and thanks for participating in the jam, keep going and make some great games!

I was about to play it but I just realized that its a Scratch file.. I have not run a Scratch game before, how do I play the game on windows? do I need to download scratch to play it?

I will play through it tomorrow and record my gameplay too :)

Make sure to get your games built up and submit! Its fine if its incomplete, I’ll still play through it over the next few days :) My own game is incomplete too, I’ll still submit it as a demo of the demo I guess :3

Managed to beat the game, well balanced and cool concept :)

Congratulations on submitting your game, the screenshot doesn’t explain much so I’m looking forward to playing through it soon and learning more! :)

I planned to work on this game while learning UE5 but things did not go according to plan, Due to some urgent client work that came up and needed a lot of my time, I decided to switch to unity (which I’m better at) to make this small demo/prototype.

So far I’ve have an overview of what I want to make and have come up with the basic look/rendering of the game, lets see how much I can get done in the remaining 18 days.

Images below are a first look of the low poly aesthetic vs a pixelated PS1 look, feel free to share your thoughts

You can submit it anytime if you finished it

Nope, no requirements or limitations on engines, use what you want to!

Hi SpIcYbEaN ! Yes, you can join the jam, click on the join jam button and make sure to submit your project before the jam ends, I look forward to trying it out.
