I enjoy :)

This is a good ass jam game. A solidly strange set of genres to mix, but it's done really well. I'm a huge fan of the build in this game: waiting for your next turn in a lot of card games can be dangerous, but here it's a calculatable risk. I also really like the balance between your desk slowly building into an unstoppable roll and the same happening with the bullet from the boss. It really rules as both ramp up in intensity. If this became a full game, I would absolutely lean into the whole idea of breaking the game before the boss can: they start using fully unlockable bullet patterns just to take away from the players rapidly rising health and damage, or something along those lines. Alternatively, capping the time limit could force players to make their actions quickly before going back into the fray. But even in it's current form, Scroll of Freezing is solidly worth your time. I'd recommend picking it up at your nearest EB games.

Liked this game a ton, the idea of climbing a mountain using sets of tools individual to each climber was really well executed, and it featured some puzzles that made me actually have to think about the situation I was in. But there was also an element of quickness, since there's no downtime between switching climbers, which I liked a lot. It means you have an infinite amount of time to think about your current challenge, but execution must still be swift. I would have liked a reset button, since there are a few rooms that become much harder if you get the climbers in a certain position, but I also understand that stuff is limited since it was a game jam. The fact you guys managed to get a really solid looking game with an interesting fleshed-out concept on the time crunch was spectacular. I enjoyed it, and I definitely think there's room for a full game out of this concept.
