Thanks for playing my game!! I should have done more research on roguelikes and work more on roguelike mechanics. I also should have included a more detailed description of the controls for people who may be new to Roblox and it's engine, alongside adding notes for each gimmick (i.e. Displaying what key to press when you got the dash bracelets) (Also a dedicated music mute button, should have been the first thing I added when I added music). Next year, I hope to use a more independent platform like Unity/Godot, and make sure to focus more on roguelike mechanics. Thanks for your perspective!!

I don't have much time on this project! I figured I should state that I am currently working on the actual roguelike segment where you get items. (Also, hatty may or may not be at lvl 100...)

Looks like Cappy is willing to share his journey with us! It appears that Hatty made some sticky surfaces for him to climb up! Hope that adhesive doesn't stop this perilous journey...

For this year's 7DRL, I decided on a fun concept based on a very annoying genre on roblox

obbies

Short for obstacle course, these roblox games are often just filled with easy jumps. There are difficulty chart obbies, but those are also just blatant attention-grabbers.

For my roguelike, you play as Cappy, exploring an infinitely generating obstacle course to meet your friend hatty (Level 1000). Every 10 levels, you get to choose equipment for your journey towards your bestest friend. Be mindful: you only get three item slots (shoes, gloves, and capes). With tons of stages, get ready to tire your legs for your friend.
Hope you enjoy!

Great to hear (about it being valid). While I cannot get the binaries, I could likely create something similar on Godot. That's all I need to know, thanks again!

I would like to make a Roblox project for the 7DRL Challenge. Is this alright, or should I switch to a different engine like Unity, Godot, etc.?
